2025 has treated me so well on my photography journey. I’ve met so many amazing photographers, I’ve photographed amazing moments for my friends and businesses alike, I’ve sold prints, I’ve reached out to airbnbs to photograph for them (unsuccessfully but I’ve tried and I’ll keep trying), I’ve applied to display my art at museums (also didnt work out). Lots of wins and lots of growth in 2025. Thank you to everyone who sees this, you’ve probably supported me in one way or another. I’ll keep posting, hoping to inspire people to look at your surroundings with a bit more romantic eyes, hoping to inspire you to create, to do the thing you love, to put it out there. by @gacruzing

A car made for the country roads (final pic for my first car camping setup). A big part of photography is experimentation. I don’t do car photography, but what if I did? I also didn’t do concerts or ballet but I loved how those turned out. Every time I get a better understanding of my interests. Every time I get a better understanding of why I do what I do, what drives me (hehe). These shoots were different moments of if Subaru asked me to photograph my dirty car for them, what could that look like? Photo 6 was a lot of fun, learning how to use solar flares as part of the photo. I wanted that big flare to line up w the edge of the light and also be parallel w the lines of the car. So this is a shoutout to experimentation and nonstop learning. by @gacruzing

This has to be one of the coolest parts of my whole trip. I was working from home during my roadtrip and I had a 4.5hr drive after work from where I was staying to Fort Collins. To break up the driving, I decided to work from coffeeshops and the library in Salida. That day lined up w the start of FIBArk, the biggest whitewater festival in the US(?). The town was so fun with so many people. I got to capture all of these after clocking out and before my drive home. I hope I get to go again next year but for the entire weekend instead. by @gacruzing

Very nice. I’m so happy with how my first art market went! I already loved the @focofoodtruckrally and to get to do it as a vendor was even better. I still get to people-watch but with my favorite photos in front of me. I think the highlight was getting to talk to someone and a bit later, they’d bring their mom or their friend along so they can share their excitement. I sold more prints than I expected, and gave out so many free postcards where I could see people walking around with my prints all around. Very excited with how it went, and excited to do it again sometime. And as part of my speech, I’d like to thank the academy, all the friends that showed up to support, and @here_and_now_farm for providing the tent and table that made this all possible 🕺🏽 feeling fulfilled with this work by @gacruzing
