The special takeover of Boiling Under by @weiming______ is out now 🫧💜

This month, Boiling Under is celebrating Wei Ming and the release of his new EP, "All Night", a project that blends queer storytelling, late-night emotions and dance-pop catharsis with rare precision.

With influences echoing Robyn, that song by David Guetta featuring Rihanna, and early Charli XCX, Wei Ming captures a sound that feels both deeply personal, and unmistakably generational. The EP makes room for vulnerability without losing the thrill of it all: a reminder that we, as queer people, have a desire of both silence and basslines, of longing and of release.

For me, this edition isn’t just about spotlighting Wei Ming’s incredible new EP.
It’s about giving it breath, and the kind of editorial space usually reserved for bigger names. My true belief has always been that independent artists deserve that same depth of attention, context, and care.

Congratulations Wei Ming for this new EP, and thank you for trusting Boiling Under with this moment! 💜 by @gaellows

The special edition of Boiling Under with @olipraaa’s takeover is out now 🫧

October is my birthday month, so it felt right to hand the aux cord to someone I deeply admire. This edition is a gift from them to me, and now from us to you.

Artist, digger, producer, curator and multidisciplinary genius, Olipra embodies everything Boiling Under has always stood for, which is passion, curiosity, and a deep love for the independent scene.

Thank you Olipra for crafting this beautiful selection and for keeping the underground burning sooo bright! 💿

Stay tuned because I will be sharing some of my favorite tracks from the two selections over the next weeks! 👀 by @gaellows

🔥💜 Boiling Under - February 2025 Update Is Out Now! 🔥💜

This month’s Boiling Under update is extra special—I had the pleasure of co-curating alongside @_pldigital. It was the perfect partner in crime to set this edition on fire.

Huge thanks to PL for joining me on this, and to everyone who sent in their picks for Hotshot… Funny enough (but not surprising!), Drive 2 me was also this month’s pick for one of you, and it makes so much sense.

Go stream PL Digital’s new EP ´Extended Play’ and this month’s update of Boiling Under! Link in bio and in stories. ❤️‍🔥 by @gaellows

Four years ago, I had no idea I would keep updating Hot Right Now as a regular Instagram story, showcasing exactly what I'm listening to right now and what I think are the best tunes out there.

In 2023, let's do things in full force! New artistic direction, new design, but Hot Right Now carries on with the same mission: to bring you the hottest releases I listen to on a daily basis.

And maybe who knows, other unexpected surprises might be in store in the Hot Right Now universe... 👀
