Don't forget where you came from.
Barbells, pole, food and other randomness.
I may take a shameful amount of selfies. 🤷‍♀️

Well. My third performance is in the bag- Halloween 2026.

Am I ok with it? No....maybe? I wasn't smooth. I didn't have the flow I wanted. Didn't have the smoothness. I landed the tricks I wanted, although I felt like I rushed through them. I was so nervous that I bailed on my dip turn as I was feeling unsteady in my heels. 🤣

But I think I moved slower and with more intention so that is a plus. This is also the first routine I put together myself (although I may have forgotten a few moves 😅), so I am kind of proud for that.

I'll take it I guess. by @gailforcespins

It was cold, I'm sore, tired, and had no energy this morning. I forgot to apply most feedback as my mind and heart were not in it. Im still confident I will be ok for this evening's performance. I hope....I think...maybe? by @gailforcespins

Back at it after a month of shifting gears to travel and prep for my performance.

While sloppy, and at the end of a near 2 hour lifting session, I got my neutral grip pull-up back after over a year. I'll revisit this again in a few days once I hit upper again.

I had to shift from my usual spot to do hanging leg raises to a power rack which has fatter grips and clearly much taller than I am. This wasn't something I am used to so I had more swing than I wanted, but this felt good so I'll be back in the racks doing this when I can.

And then bench stuff.

I did some things today. Not too happy with any of it, but they were done. by @gailforcespins

Happy Halloween by @gailforcespins

I haven't been to the gym in a month as I shifted gears for show prep and travel. Heading back Monday morning, but need to make a hamstring/quad and upper arm appreciation post with the shape that I'm still holding on to/developing. by @gailforcespins

Snippets of coaching from this morning with @marlofisken focusing on trying to improve my invert/extended butterfly from a smoothness, speed and fluidity aspect. Today was tough as I worked on these last night and a little this morning, but I am happy with the progress when compared to where I was last week.

While these two inverts were a little faster as I was nearing exhaustion due to earlier training, it is still slower than I historically invert. I will say once I recieved the feedback to straighten my back leg (or move with intention), the leg touching the pole was able to straighten easier. Might be elementary for some but I had an aha moment when looking at these videos. by @gailforcespins

Operation slower inverts and butterfly refinement, day 2. by @gailforcespins
