Making wilderness jewelry today with my friend @ethereal.court at the Bee Line Bike tour! Come by Our Village Garden at Milton/Pierce Butler to make some wild bling, have lunch from @shobistable get a tour of the mini forest planted by @humannaturemn,

👀 Peep my willow 👀

Took a lovely drive to Red Wing last Friday evening for an artist reception of With the Grain, a juried group show at Anderson Center featuring art made of wood. Two of my submissions were selected: a twill weave willow bark basket and a ribbed willow serving tray.

Thank you @andersoncntr for cleverly collecting this fun variety of wood in many forms and for including my willow work!

The exhibit runs until August 15, so if you fancy a road trip to the cute town of Red Wing be sure to include Anderson Center as part of your visit. by @gailwithani

What a charmed life I live!

I got to spend several days weaving with friends and special guest instructor @annetta_kraayeveld the absolute queen of paper weaving.

The past week has been a brain journey working with Annetta’s colorful painted paper and clever designs (hello five sided basket and intricate twill!). So grateful for the annual Weavin’ in Winona gathering for hosting in Winona, plus all my local buddies at @twincitiesbasketweavers who hosted in St Paul, and of course to Annetta who is simply THE BEST instructor and five star houseguest too. These workshops unlocked a lot of new ideas that I’m looking forward to tinkering with. by @gailwithani

Basket Love ❤️

It was soooooo fun hanging out with these fine folks making big baskets in my Striped Market Shopper workshop this past weekend! Look at these beautiful baskets 😍
