First and foremost, I thank God for carrying me through the days I thought I wouldn’t make it. Through every setback, every tear, and every silent prayer, His grace never left my side.

To my Florida Memorial University family, Once a lion always a lion… thank you for becoming my support system, my safe place, and my second home. Thank you for the love, lessons, and memories that will stay with me long after graduation.

To the Kappa Gamma chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., thank you for the brotherhood, loyalty, and strength you poured into me throughout this journey. The lessons, support, and bond we share will stay with me forever.

To my family, thank you for loving me through every hard moment, for sacrificing so much so I could chase this dream, and for reminding me to keep going even when life felt heavy.

To my brother… this one hurts the most. I remember the last day I saw you was on your birthday … August 14th, 2024. I had to head back to college for my Junior year and I didn’t want to miss your birthday so I stayed an extra day and left at the end of your birthday dinner. 2 weeks later you passed away! Who knew that would be my last time seeing you? Losing you my junior year of college changed me forever. there were so many moments during this journey when I wish I could just give up and quit! when I wished I could call you, hear your voice, or hear you tell me how proud you are. I carry your love, your memories, and your spirit with me every single day. Walking across this stage is not just for me … it’s for you too. I hope I made you proud.
