O enjoys dancing and walking in the M Valley. He also likes resting and relaxing in the mountains, where he often finds random spots to unwind.

On some nights, he sees a spiral portal appear in front of him. He has been told that this spiral portal is connected to energy and the secrets of the universe.

The spiral rotates on itself, and as O observes it, he feels a connection to its energy. By dancing, his body’s joints also begin to rotate, mirroring the pattern of the spiral portal. This dance allows him to connect with both his body and the universe, bringing him relaxation and calm. He then shares this experience with all the octopus teachers around him, and they dance together.

A new ring design, DM to Made To Order

The sky is foggy, but something glows, heart-shaped, hollow, floating like it knows the way. It’s a floating object, but also a ring/arch. A heart shape object caught between shape and flow. This ring captures that the shape of flow, a shape suspended between uncertainty and distance.

A new ring design, DM to Made To Order

Its shape is inspired by gear, monster lips, and teeth.

Helmet-like, sculpted from a memory of M Valley.

Alvin once saw a digital monster,
Wearing a wearable hat, fused to its head, opening and closing like a jaw.

That image never left him.
It reminded him of a skeleton jaw, rhythmic, intentional, alive.

In M Valley, every monster wears its
own garment.

This one bites back.

Crafted from the digital wilds. Worn in the physical now.

It’s been a while since I last posted anything. I’ve been feeling stuck while using Blender, the long hours of waiting for rendering, and the colour/texture quality just wasn’t what I wanted. It’s been good to stick to black and white tho, as well as the Octopus Teacher ideas and the Playground project, both of which l’ve enjoyed so much. During this time, l’ve focused on silhouettes and lighting.

Recently, however, l’ve found an other way to embrace the gloomy English weather in the wintertime. I’ve fallen in love with the nature around my new neighbourhood, the green landscapes of English country parks. This has inspired a new phase for M Valley. Moving away from its dark black-and-white aesthetic, it’s evolving into something colorful, filled with plants and grass-a “rose period” for M Valley.

A new character, Flower Eye, was created during this time.
FYI: it was all done in Unreal Engine! I absolutely love the quick rendering times. Expect to see more work on this account very soon!!! by @gaisketch

Dancing with Flowers

This visual concept is inspired by my analogue drawings. Flowers and organic shapes often appear in my work, and the 2D representations of them serve as interesting characters. The faces in the drawings remind me of Takashi Murakami’s Flower Ball artwork.

The project M Valley is a world that portrays my childhood. It includes various objects and events from that time, blending them together in M Valley.

Some of the organic shapes in M Valley are inspired by my chronic IBS disease. I have always drawn these organic forms, which symbolise the architecture of the intestinal lining epithelium. I often imagine them dancing in my stomach whenever I experience pain from IBS or lactose intolerance.
