I hope I can sew like she could one day 🧵🪡 ✨

My mum found a suitcase in my Grandma’s loft, filled with clothes my Grandma had hand-sewn years and years ago… and now they’ve been passed onto me 🥰 It feels special having something she took the time to make with her hands, knowing that she wore them when she was younger.

Because of her dementia she can’t always remember that she made them but when me & my mum show her photos of herself wearing some of the dresses she made - like her own wedding dress - sometimes bits come back to her and that feels pretty amazing ✨ I just wish we had more photos
