After a beautiful journey performing, sharing and learning at AAJA Radio, Galaata will now be moving to Subtle Radio every first Wednesday of the month, 7–8 PM 📡

Really excited to step into this new phase of Galaata, with new guest artists, concepts, mixes and explorations of sound, memory and bass 🌐🔊

I tried to speed run through genres in this one, more info the next few slides with some clips!

In this segment I experimented with a blend of hard house, UK garage, and groovy cuts. Been really enjoying these summery sounds lately.

ID: Faster Horses – Get on Ya Knees.

In this segment, I experimented with some dubstep 140 tunes and explored some dancey, darker elements to lock in.

ID - Flava D - Dem Not Ready x EsDeeKid - 4 Raws (MOTOU “STREETMENT”)

Here I explored some of the South Asian-inspired 140 sound that’s been coming out recently, featuring a dub cut of the legendary Bass Dhol by AHADADREAM and Skrillex.

Finally, no set is complete without some soulful, hard-hitting UK garage.

Thank you so much to all those who showed up and performed. This was a particularly special gig for me! Around 2 years ago I met my idols at the social who sparked Galaatas inspiration. Now after all this time to perform at the place where it all began for me has been unreal!
