2002.

Back when LEGO Star Wars was still finding its identity.
Back when shelves looked completely different.
Back when Episode II was the new thing.

These original LEGO Star Wars Attack of the Clones stickers were released during the Episode II launch period in collaboration with Merlin Collections and LEGO.

A small piece of early LEGO Star Wars history from a time when the theme was still new and evolving.

Simple. Nostalgic. Pure early 2000s Star Wars.

The Force was strong in 2002.

Never seen these before, so I had to share them 😍

Apparently these were handed out during a 2002 LEGO Star Wars promotion weekend at Toys R Us. The former Toys R Us manager I bought them from explained that kids could participate in activities and receive these “Official Certificate of Achievement” prints as part of the event.

That honestly makes them even cooler to me, because they were never meant to become collector items, just fun promo material for kids back in 2002.

As someone who loves obscure LEGO Star Wars history and promotional items, I absolutely love things like this. The artwork and whole Episode II era style just screams early 2000s LEGO Star Wars 🙌🏽🔥

Have any of you seen these before? #LEGOSTARWARS #LEGOCollection #StarWarsCollectors by @galaxyminifigs

1999.

Before the massive UCS sets.
Before clone armies.
Before modern collecting.

A small piece of early LEGO Star Wars history from the very beginning of the theme.

SWGCNO-1 – 1999 Norwegian Galactic Challenge 🇳🇴

Sealed original polybag.

Confirmed source of the SW1515 Darth Vader variant with the silver chest print.

Most were opened nearly 27 years ago, making sealed examples extremely rare today.

A true piece of LEGO Star Wars history.

Milestone unlocked.

I have finally secured some of the most iconic and historically significant LEGO Star Wars minifigures ever released.

Chrome Gold C 3PO limited to 10000 worldwide.
Original Cloud City figures from set 10123 widely considered cornerstone grails in the hobby.
Early Smooth Hair Leia from the 1999 era.

Adding these to the collection marks a major milestone in my journey as a serious LEGO Star Wars collector.

1493 unique minifigures and counting.

This is not about hype.
It is about preservation authenticity and building one of the most complete LEGO Star Wars minifigure collections in Scandinavia.

Long term vision.
Serious collecting.
The journey continues.
