There's a real legal reason loading screens were boring for almost two decades.

Hi !! (or bye!)
I'm just a girl who enjoys her nerdy hobbies, plays way too many video games, and should probably get out some more 😅 by @galaxyyaus

Meet me in FIVES! Honestly this took me a lot longer to do than I thought it would 🤣

But here are my 5 favourite video games, movies, books, tv shows, and bands!
I almost added board games or hobbies to the list but I didn’t want to ruin the 5 in 5 synergy 🤣

I’m trying to inject a little bit more of myself and my life into this page, even though it’s a bit daunting to do!

Anyway! Nice to meet you ☺️ I hope you like it here!

This might have been the hardest for me to do! I play so many games and have been playing them my whole life so picking only 5 was tricky.

Sometimes favourites come and go but I tried to pick some from different areas in my life that really shaped me!

1. Deadlock is my current go-to in my downtime. It’s Valve’s new MOBA shooter and is still only in closed alpha but it’s the first game like this I’ve actually wanted to continuously play 🥹

2. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 really hammered home my love for RPGs that give you complete freedom. I spent so many hours in this just exploring and doing my own thing. And blacksmithing!

3. Slay the Spire (and I guess Slay the Spire 2) is the epitome of “one more run” for me. Deck building roguelites honestly keep me up way too late 🤣

4. FFXIV I play a lot less of these days but I have spent thousands of hours in this magical MMO and it’s the reason I am where I am today.

5. The Mass Effect trilogy is what turned gaming from a small hobby to a gigantic passion for me. I didn’t play them until around 2013 or so but I was hooked.

Movies were also really tricky to choose!

1. The Grand Budapest Hotel is my favourite movie of all time. I love all of Wes Anderson’s films but this one just sticks out for me!

2. What We Do in the Shadows is delightfully awkward and 100% my favourite type of humour.

3. The Banshees of Inisherin was a pivotal movie for me. I’ve started to tire of big blockbuster films and superheroes, so this one allowed me to enjoy a much smaller story and character focus. Plus it’s beautifully shot and acted!

4. The Lord of the Rings is an obvious choice for me! I saw Fellowship of the Ring in the cinemas (I was 9 and had to sneak in!) and it literally changed my life. Obsesse by @galaxyyaus

One of the most loved minigames of all time almost didn't exist. It was saved with one weekend and a bath.

The Witcher 3 Remastered is here so it's the perfect time to get back into Gwent!

I’m absolutely obsessed with Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave at the moment 😭 it’s consuming all of my spare time (and some of my sleep, too!).

Feeling very lucky to have been sent over a copy and a cute little gift from @nintendoaunz!

Who is your favourite Fire Emblem character? (In any game!)

In 2006, one World of Warcraft raid leader did the math and proved one of the game's own bosses was literally unbeatable.

The Konami Code wasn't actually built for players and yet it's been in over 200 games since 1986.

August photo dump! I’ve never made one of these before so here’s a first attempt ☺️ it turns out I take a lot of pictures of animals 🥹

I think I need to challenge myself to start having more photos taken of myself 🤔 September’s goal? by @galaxyyaus

It's a busy month for all types of games! I thought I'd try something different and give you the indies that I'm personally looking forward to, rather than list a bunch of them out.

I've played a lot of Moonlighter 2 in early access so I'm excited to jump back into it!

Spend a weekend with me away.. from my PC 😊

I'm challenging myself to spend more time doing a variety of things that bring me joy. I love gaming but sometimes I definitely find myself spending way too much time inside at my computer 😅 here's my first weekend!

I’m loving the Stardew Valley Secret Lair MTG drop! It’s honestly the crossover I never knew I needed 🤣

I was so worried I would miss out completely because of my timezone, but I’m so glad I got to grab at least a few! I feel like I might need to try come up with a Stardew-themed deck now 🤔

Which cards are your favourite from this drop?
