Strobe lights, connected to a DMX recorder, loop a light track based on morse code.

One encrypted message is repeated spasmodically.

The recorder allows a bridge from one to 𝑥 lamps, making the light sculpture parasitic to the host volume architecture.

While the monochrome is active, the exhibition area does not permit access points.

A trace of monochrome pigment clings to the gallery walls.
The drawing, created using the spolvero (pouncing) technique, is temporary.

The depicted architecture follows the model of the hortus conclusus, it is closed, hermetic on all four sides, preventing the gaze from extending to what lies beyond.
Behind it, in perspective, eight arboreal presences emerge onto the vault: the crowns of apple trees and the tips of cypresses. The perspectival tension draws them toward the center of the space, visual pivot of the exhibition.

Unfixed, the pigment breathes, reacting to atmospheric and lighting conditions; it waits and thins as time passes.
The form remains in a constant state of becoming, evolving for as long as the host architecture allows its existence.
