Local Art Gallery in Braddock PA!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welcome to Gallery AFK, a beacon of creativity proudly sponsored by Standard&Custom, nestled in the heart of Braddock, PA, USA. Led by the visionary artist, Premium Algorithm, aka Filip Agren, our gallery is more than just a space for art—it's a vibrant hub of connection and collaboration.

At Gallery AFK, we believe in empowering artists by eliminating commissions and focusing on building community through immersive events. Our monthly gatherings are designed to unite people from all walks of life through the transformative power of art.

As we curate our art exhibitions, we shine a spotlight on the incredible talent of local artists from Pittsburgh and beyond, including the dynamic art scene of New York. And soon, we'll be launching our 24/7 live stream, bringing the magic of art directly to you, wherever you may be.

But none of this would be possible without the dedication and passion of our incredible volunteers. Meet Anh Norris-Phan and Berivan Altay—our multitasker angels—who work tirelessly to ensure that our events are nothing short of spectacular.

And let's not forget our resident artists, each bringing their own unique flair to our gallery:

Max, the mastermind behind Colorfiction, invites you to explore his digital art world through paintings, VR, and more.
Rugonomix, our human relationship manager extraordinaire, not only crafts vibrant carpets but also orchestrates unforgettable events that showcase the best talents.
WOLFCO, the dynamic duo of Jake and Joseph from New York, mesmerizes with their stunning resin and acrylic sculptures.
Vindeezy, a fashion visionary, advocates for eco-friendly fashion through his "Vindeezy Cares" statement.
$hy, the graffiti devil, unveils his chilling "Cold Devil Collection 2023," available for viewing by appointment.
Dae, also known as Chardaé Jones, brings her wealth of experience and creativity as our community manager, enriching our team with her leadership, talent, and as a writer and publisher of 15 books.
Join us at Gallery AFK, where art creates a vibrant community of innovation and togetherness, sparking our imagination to make a lasting impact on the art world together. #GalleryAFK by @gallery_afk

Dark Arts is back for October! This time we will be leaning in to the Halloween spirit and encouraging costumes and masks for all those who want to celebrate. We will be back at @gallery_afk with hopefully much cooler weather and fresh lighting/decor. Last time was a massive success and we want to keep the party moving so please keep this one in mind for a night of hard techno and trance. by @gallery_afk

Massive appreciation post to the amazing people over at @two29gallery and @gallery_afk. This summer’s Punk Bands & Spray Cans events brought an energy back to the city that I haven’t felt since the late 90s when art and friendships mattered, and you’d shake with anticipation to get your eyes on the latest and greatest murals somebody rocked over the weekend. From the conversations and laughs, music, hot dogs and nachos, this event was fresh!! They dug up some legends and some amazing new artists every single month. Parents rockin’ with their kids. Photos. Vendors. Food for the soul type stuff. Sorry if I missed anyone in the posts, I didn’t get final photos of everything. 10/3/26 is the grand finale — come and rock if you’re available. Thanks again everyone! ⚡️🤘⚡️✌️⚡️ taken in Gallery AFK by @gallery_afk
