LI Ning 李寧 No Ground  Exhibition period 17 October – 21 November 2026 Opening Saturday, 17 October, 2 - 6 pm Venue 13/F, Gallery EXIT Address 25 Hing Wo Street, Tin Wan, Aberdeen, Hong Kong Gallery EXIT presents ‘No Ground’, an exhibition by LI Ning featuring his new works. In recent years, LI Ning’s practice has revolved around memory, its transformation, and the ways in which memories are continuously rewritten over time. This interest took shape amid a series of social, environmental and personal changes, bringing a heightened awareness of collective memory, how facts can be redrawn, and how lived experience can be preserved. As an artist, Li responded by turning to storytelling, transforming personal and collective experiences into fictional and mythological narratives. #GalleryEXIT #LINing Work in progress: No Ground, 2026, airbrush painting, intaglio, relief print and collage on canvas, 200 x 120 cm Work in progress: Private Weather, 2026, airbrush painting, intaglio, relief print and collage on canvas, 200 x 120 cm by @galleryexit
Oscar CHAN Yik Long 陳翊朗  Two Kinds of Protection 兩種保護  Exhibition period 17 October – 21 November 2026 Opening Saturday, 17 October, 2 - 6 pm Venue 13/F, Gallery EXIT Address 25 Hing Wo Street, Tin Wan, Aberdeen, Hong Kong ‘Two Kinds of Protection’ is Oscar CHAN Yik Long’s third solo exhibition at Gallery EXIT.      Chan doesn’t require us to study the research behind his imagery. These ink and oil paintings address us as viewers of pictures rather than as readers of stories. They are visual first and foremost, and the means they employ – figuration, shades of blackness and colour, the juxtaposition of details and sweeping lines – are meant to strengthen them as images. The exhibition does, however, have a title, and it gives us access to the intellectual, emotional and spiritual processes that brought this particular body of work to life.  For ‘Two Kinds of Protection’ each technique has been connected to a distinct set of figures, doubling as characters from Eastern (Buddhist) and Western (Abrahamic) religious traditions. Maybe we should just take a moment to consider that ‘figure’ and ‘character’ are not the same. Ultimately, the former is a formal category (an appearance) while the latter is a moral one (an appraisal). #GalleryEXIT #OscarCHANYikLong Artwork caption: Michael 米迦勒, 2026, oil on canvas, 80 x 60 cm Artwork caption: Acala 不動明王, 2026, ink on canvas, 80 x 80 cm by @galleryexit

’These angels are drawn from models in erotic magazines from the 1970s and 80s. It’s not about highlighting a link to lust. It’s simply to emphasise the most truthful expression of human nature—in a completely nude state.‘ - Oscar CHAN Yik Long🪽 ‘Two Kinds of Protection’ will be on view until Saturday, 21 November. 安全口畫廊 13樓 @oscarchanyiklong #GalleryEXIT #OscarCHANYikLong by @galleryexit
Exhibition Sharing: The Logic of Refabrication Oscar CHAN Yik Long ‘Two Kinds of Protection’ × LI Ning ‘No Ground’ Guest Speaker: Dr. Roger LEE  Senior Lecturer, Department of General Education, Saint Francis University, Hong Kong  🗓️ Date: Saturday, 24 October 2026  ⏰ Time: 4:00 - 5:00 pm  📍 Venue: 13/F, Gallery EXIT  🗺️Address: 25 Hing Wo Street, Tin Wan, Aberdeen  💬Language: The event will be conducted in Cantonese In artistic practice, creators often lift things out of their familiar contexts, taking them apart and reassembling them into something new. Oscar CHAN Yik Long removes the sacred characters from religious figures and injects into these holy shells the all-too-human complexions, kneading them into ambiguous hybrids of secularity and sacrality. LI Ning, on the other hand, shreds the memory into pieces, transforms them, and, under the guidance of his intuition, patches them together to create a past yet to be known.   In this sharing session, the two artists will talk about how they unravel the strands of their daily experience and fabricate them into their peculiar universe. #GalleryEXIT #ExhibitionSharing by @galleryexit
Exhibition Sharing: Tensions in the Cloud KWONG Wing Kwan ‘Good Morning, Sweet Dreams. – Time Blindness’ Guest Speaker: Dr. Roger LEE Senior Lecturer, Department of General Education, Saint Francis University, Hong Kong 🗓️ Date: Saturday, 24 October 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:30 - 3:30 pm 📍 Venue: 3/F, Gallery EXIT 🗺️ Address: 25 Hing Wo Street, Tin Wan, Aberdeen 💬 Language: The event will be conducted in Cantonese Clouds are both ethereal and substantial, visible above us yet always out of reach. They may look still, but they are constantly drifting and changing. In sunlight they appear gentle and serene, yet they can also gather the force of distant thunder and falling rain. Made of contradictions held in delicate balance, clouds echo the logic of KWONG Wing Kwan’s paintings. In this sharing session, Kwong will talk about how reality and imagination interweave in her work, where moments of calm carry an undercurrent of unease, and beauty is shot through with a vivid sense of fear. #GalleryEXIT #ExhibitionSharing by @galleryexit

For CHO Wing Ki, printmaking isn’t simply a preliminary draft for oil paintings. It’s a space where line, color blocks, and carving enrich the work and open new directions for her painting practice.🫟 ‘Dazzled in the Loop’ will be on view until Saturday, 3 October. 安全口畫廊 13樓 @winki.cho #GalleryEXIT #CHOWingKi by @galleryexit

CHO Wing Ki 曹穎褀 Dazzled in the Loop 迷光迴路 Exhibition period 5 September – 3 October 2026 Opening Saturday, 5 September, 2 - 5 pm Venue 13/F, Gallery EXIT Address 25 Hing Wo Street, Tin Wan, Aberdeen, Hong Kong Gallery EXIT presents CHO Wing Ki’s solo exhibition Dazzled in the Loop. Building on her ongoing exploration of urban landscapes and everyday life, the exhibition reimagines selected earlier works and shifts from recognizable city scenes toward a more intimate psychological terrain. Observing how people move and pause within the city, Cho captures fleeting moments between motion and stillness, haze and clarity. Through repeated observation and reconstruction, she transforms the city into a psychological rhythm that reveals resilience beneath daily tensions and the quiet light guiding us forward. #GalleryEXIT #CHOWingKi by @galleryexit
