Honestly, I just wanted to come journal this spot for aesthetics alone. But the message behind “Library of Us” led me to some reflection. Devlin has spoken about how, in our modern instant-content world, the habit of deep reading has been eroded.

I certainly feel that way, but it’s not for lack of curiosity or desire to read/learn. It’s just that my method of consumption has been niche authors on Substack and deep research with A.I. The convenience of Audible also has dug the grave deeper on physical book extinction.

Need to bring a book on the next trip to the beach #essential. I’m ashamed I don’t have more to choose from, but my fav read this year has been The Most Important Thing by Howard Marks. Stepped away from the feed to focus on markets the past few months. It paid off. More trading discipline. More deep work.

The purchasing power of the dollar is eroding fast. The only solution is to park your money in other asset classes that store value. For me right now, it’s silver.

Central banks are stacking record amounts of gold as it hits new highs. You should be asking yourself why. Silver, as usual, lags… but just crossed $40/oz for only the third time in HISTORY. That’s why I’m paying close attention, the move could be historic.

Silver miners see their profits multiply when prices rise. My current favorite trade is $AG (First Majestic). Not the best fundamentally, but technically? Best setup. Best risk/reward. (Not financial advice — just what I’m digging into ⛏️)
