Getting closer to boxing up my first guitar! In this part of the build, I'm fitting and gluing the kerfing. I’m learning how much care goes into each step, from checking for gaps to keeping everything lined up while clamping.

Learning instrument voicing directly from Bryan Galloup!

I’m Cori, Galloup’s social media intern, and I’ve been documenting the process of building my first guitar. This part of the build gave me a chance to work on my chisel skills while also starting to understand the basics of tuning and voicing.

There’s a lot to learn, but having Bryan there to walk me through the process makes it much easier to understand what I’m listening for and why each adjustment matters.
