Full randonneuse build for a very patient @area45 . It’s been a minute since I’ve done a complete set of racks and a stem and I’m really happy with how everything turned out.

The frame is built from lightweight Kaisei tubing with an old set of stamped Prugnat lugs @lugsnotdrugs gifted me and rear dropouts I machined. Rinko ready brazeons and light guides keep things rando-tastic. The fork is made from Columbus fork blades, Pacenti Paris Brest fork crown and SON SL connector-less fork ends. Handlebar bar rack, low riders and stem made from 4130 chromoly. by @gallusdude

I’ve been enjoying being offline the last wee while, hope everyone is hanging in there just fine. Figured it was a good time to share Rob’s road frame that came back from paint a couple months back. This has kinda been a back burner project for me and Rob as he has quite the collection of nice bikes, including a very nice modern road bike I made for him a few years back. I made this frame back in 2023, it sat unpainted till this year then hung out at the painters shop for a few months. Might be a little bit longer till it gets built up, but hey, a lugged road bike is timeless and we don’t need to worry about the parts standards changing.

The frame was built from @columbus_official PegoRichie ÜOS tubing (chain stays swapped to short taper), @therichardsachs Sax Max Bring Back the Elegance lug set, dropouts of my design and making, and the fork is made from Columbus Max blades and crown. @flux.customs finished everything up with the lush Brittany Blue paint work. For a double overdrive tube set and steel fork it’s surprisingly light and will surely be a spirited ride. by @gallusdude

Tal picked up his randonneur bike a couple of weeks ago and has clocked in quite a few miles already. I hadn’t done a complete build in quite a while so it was nice seeing everything come together, and I was able to snap a few pics too.

The frame is built from Kaisei tubing with paint by @flux.customs , built up with some fancy new parts and quite a few nice old ones. Honjo fenders, Schmidt dynamo lighting, front rack and bag round things out for the full Rando experience. by @gallusdude

Wrapped up Tal’s classic randonneur frame set. Built with lightweight Kasei tubing, modified long point lugs and a slew of rando appropriate braze-ons. With bikes getting ever more tech these days, I m glad I still get to make frames like this. by @gallusdude

Wrapping up @bicipunk gravel plus frame set with a dry fit of the parts. This a lot of bike. @columbus_official zona tubing, clearance for 2.4” tires, T47 bb, dropper post, post mount @paulcomponent klampers while also using a standard road chainline and drop bars. All sorts of mounts along with front/rear dynamo lighting via Schmidt SON SL hub. Super nice wheel build courtesy of @pygmyrabbit . Definitely maxxxed things out on this one by @gallusdude

Final touches complete on Bruce’s randonneur frame. I took way too long to make this but I m really happy with how it came out. Built with ultra light Kaisei standard diameter tubing and a modified lug set. The rear dropouts were from the stash of CNC d.o.’s I machined a few years back and I designed and then outsourced a matching set for the fork. Got a slew of braze-ons on there for the full rando treatment. Bruce has been collecting some nice parts to finish the build after paint. Excited to see how things come together 😊 by @gallusdude

Dropped off Ian’s All Road frame today. Fillet brazed goodness built around flat mount brakes. Per customer request, there is a “Ritchey” style seat cluster and a sloping fork crown. Additionally, I fabricated quite a few braze-ons for the frame set.

@flux.customs laid down the super smooth paint job. The colors Ian picked give the bike a very balanced and understated look, if I do say so myself.

Ian literally started installing parts 5 minutes after I handed him the frame, so it shouldn’t be long till the complete bike hits the street. by @gallusdude
