We congrstulate Pablo Atchugarry for his exhibition at Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome.

We are pleased to share that Pablo Atchugarry is the subject of a major institutional exhibition at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GNAMC) in Rome, titled “Pablo Atchugarry. Scolpire la Luce”, curated by Gabriele Simongini. The exhibition is on view from 19 May to 21 June 2026

“Scolpire la Luce” brings together around fifty sculptures created over the last three decades, offering a comprehensive overview of Atchugarry’s research. Alongside his iconic white marbles, the exhibition includes works in wood from centuries‑old olive trees, alabaster, enamelled bronze and steel, underlining the breadth of his sculptural experimentation.

The exhibition is further enriched by a group of sculptures installed within the museum’s permanent collection, establishing new dialogues with artists such as Jean Arp, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Giacometti and Henry Moore. On the occasion of the show, Atchugarry has donated to GNAMC the marble work “Splendore” (2026), created specifically for the museum’s collection.

Last week we participated in Dallas Art Fair with Galería de las Misiones.

It was a pleasure to observe how visitors engaged with the works, exploring their geometry.

Other artists exhibited with the gallery included José Pedro Costigliolo, María Freire, Nikolai Kasak, and Carmelo Arden Quin.

From last week’s Art Cologne Palma, two HEADS (CABEZAS) were shown with Galería de las Misiones. @galmisiones @artcolognefair

Arturo Berned participates in the first edition of @artcolognefair Art Cologne Palma with @galmisiones Galería de las Misiones.

From April 9 to 12, at the @palaucongressospalma Palau de Congressos, two works from the HEAD/CABEZA series are presented in different finishes, exploring perception through material and geometry.

Other artists present at the gallery's stand include: Carmelo Arden Quin, Turi Simeti, José Pedro Costigliolo, María Freire, Carlos Carnero and Antonio Seguí.

Prepping for my solo show at La Galería de las Misiones ✨
working with rhythm, spacing, and flow as the work finds its place.

Some works are finished now.
Others were waiting—because how they’re completed depends entirely on how they live together in the space.

For those who’ve never seen Some Things Are Not Easily Seen, it’s made the journey to José Ignacio and will be on view here through March 🤍

This exhibition marks the first public showing of Bloodstream, a body of work now coming together in this space for the first time.

There will also be a meet-the-artist opening, with a chance to learn a bit more about how I work.

El próximo 6 de enero a las 19:00 hs se inagura Focus, Festival de Fotografía de José Ignacio, en la Galería de las Misiones como sede central del festival, con dos maestros de la fotografía como Gaspar Gasparian y Leo Matiz. Los esperamos!

Gaspar Gasparian (São Paulo, 1899–1966) fue un fotógrafo brasileño de origen armenio, considerado una figura clave de la fotografía moderna en Brasil. En la década de 1940 ingresa al Foto Cine Club Bandeirante, epicentro de la vanguardia fotográfica paulista, del cual convierte en uno de sus principales exponentes.

Leo Matiz (1917–1998) fue un fotógrafo, caricaturista, pintor y reportero gráfico colombiano, considerado uno de los diez fotógrafos más influyentes del siglo XX. Nacido en Aracataca —el mismo pueblo que inspiró Cien años de soledad— desarrolló una carrera internacional que lo llevó por México, Nueva York, París y otros centros culturales, donde retrató a figuras icónicas como Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Neruda y Fernando Botero. taken in Galería de las Misiones by @galmisiones
