These were the words of Jesus on the cross. I encourage everyone to watch The Passion Of the Christ, for it gives us a representation of what Christ endured. We will never be able to repay Jesus for His sacrifice, but that doesn't mean we can't try.

We live in a culture where focusing on what we want is more important than anything else. It's all about what we as individuals want. But truly, what we want sometimes damages us because it can overtake us. Our focus should be on what our God wants from us, not what society wants or what we want. Our only want should be to follow and serve our holy God! The less we lean on our own understanding and wants, the more God will appear in our daily lives🤎✨

How often do we listen to podcasts or music to try and understand your life and what's going on around you? We have no problem listening to others, but when it comes to listening to God, we struggle with it. I struggle with it. But it is so important to tune in and listen to God for guidance! Not just the world!

Often times, especially as teenage girls, we tend to prioritize materialistic things above anything and everything. We're always shopping, or browsing online or talking to a friend about what they should buy next. I'm guilty of this. But wouldn't we be so much more fulfilled with a rich relationship with Christ?! A relationship with Him fills so many more voids in our lives an a new pair of shoes ever could!

Where is your hearts desire? What do we prioritize on a daily basis? A lot of the time we tend to focus on other people actions instead of our own. Here, a woman named Mary is in awe of what Jesus is teaching and her sister Martha was distracted with cooking dinner. Martha didn't understand why Mary wasn't helping her with the preparation. But Jesus turns and tells Martha that she is focusing on the wrong things! If Jesus was standing in front of you right now, would you be Mary and sit at the foot of Him? Or would you be Martha and be concerned with what others were doing?
