Today I want to introduce you to Martyna - a soul dancing between rhythm and waves. Her surf journey started in Lombok, learning side by side with his brother, who showed her the beauty of riding the waves. One session was never going to be enough. Hungry for more, she followed the call of the sea all the way to Morocco... And that´s how our paths crossed. For almost 22 years, dance has shaped who she is, and somehow the ocean seems to understand her rhythm. The balance and flow she developed through dance, became her weapon in the Moroccan powerful swells. Beyond the surfing, what stood out mos was her energy. Whether dancing after sunset, laughing with the group, she always gave us the positive vibes.The waves taught her patience, the atmosphere on the surf camp pushed beyond her limits and now the dream continues and here eyes are already set on Azores for the next wonderful chapter of surfing by @galsnwaves

I love walking along the coast, watching surfers catching the waves. I love spotting the girls gliding effortlessly, wondering about their - -how long they’ve been surfing, how they started, how they learned. I watch, impressed by their skill and confidence, imagining the dedication behind every movement. And somewhere in those moments, I catch myself hoping that one day, I’ll be that good too. by @galsnwaves

Salt in the air, salt in the hair, a line up full of strangers. Paddling through the big sets and plenty of wipeouts, and then finally catching that one small wave. Between sessions, it’s all about sharing stories, tips, and helping each other, then getting back for the next one. That’s what the Moroccan routine looks like when you go to surf camp. By the end of the day, there’s just a nice tan and a camera roll full of picturesIt’s been great going back to the place where it all started. by @galsnwaves

There she is — stepping into the sea to catch the waves with wonderful sunset in the background.I didn’t know it then, that frame will stay with me long after I left the shoreline. But now it decorates my tablet as a wallpaper.The light was fading, brushing everything in soft blue. She didn’t rush. She let the ocean welcome her, one small wave at a time. This is Kim. She is a dancer that runs the project @keepitmoving.co She also takes pictures! (@kimbo.jpeg)I didn’t know it when I spotted her on the promenade while she was surfskating, tho I had the thought she looks like she just dance!When I went back to the spot I was sitting before, she was sitting and writing, with this beautiful sunset in the background. I felt like I need to take pics of this moment and I did.After sharing instagram, to send her photos later, I realised I wasn’t so wrong about her dancing on the board. Walking along the promenade, looking for girls with boards, I spotted this little girl on a surfboard. Her dad was gently pushing her into the waves, helping her catch some and just have fun. A photo I took last Sunday when I went to the beach to catch the sunset. It was a really great day to chill by the ocean. Few girls surfing were sorted but obviously the water was mostly occupied by the guys.I am happy to be able to take some shots of surfing girls, as the one above.Next pics will be more colourful and you will be able to see the beautiful sunset that was this day too by @galsnwaves
