The one video I found from Notting Hill Carnival this year is literally the moment I arrived to the #capoeira ..the only reason I show up in the first place 🫶🏿

Another Sunday on the grass with Broadway Movement.

A big thank you to Edgar aka @gamatheblack for leading us through Capoeira Roots, exploring ginga, esquiva, combinations and the movement, rhythm and expression that bring Capoeira together.

Then Julia aka @with_calma took us from Yang to Yin, starting with energy and flow before slowing things down into release, stillness and restoration. A chance to move, breathe, reconnect and finish the afternoon grounded.

Thank you to everyone who came down, whether it was your first class or you’ve been moving with us for a while. These sessions stay free because people continue to show up, contribute and make the space what it is.

And thank you to everyone supporting Broadway Movement behind the scenes. We’ve got new classes, collaborations, partnerships and activations taking shape, and we’re looking forward to sharing what’s next.

Back at London Fields, Sunday 20th September.
Keep an eye out for the class announcement and full details.

See you on the grass.
