SHREK RAVE IS COMING TO REYKJAVIK! 💚 Where underground rave meets live stage show, the swamp transforms into a full-scale party built around heavy dance music, huge visuals and festival-level production. DJs drive the night with Techno, House, EDM, Drum & Bass and Shrek remixes, while Shrek characters and live moments appear throughout the night. Expect the unexpected as the swamp comes alive with performances, games and chaotic Shrek energy. Expect: • DJs playing Techno, EDM, House, Drum & Bass & Shrek remixes • Shrek characters performing live on stage • Far Far Away Idol (Shrek karaoke competition) • Onion Eating Competitions & Dance Battles • Crazy Shrek visuals throughout the night • Festival-scale rave production • Swamp Juice served at the bar Come dressed green or as your favourite Shrek character and join the swamp. Venue: Gamla Bio, Ingólfsstræti 2a, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland Date: Friday 25th September, 2026 Time: 8pm-1am Last Entry: 9:30pm (Arrive early to catch all performances and games) Age Restriction: 20+ (The minimum age is 18 years old, you must be accompanied by a parent or relative who is over 20 years of age, if you have purchased a ticket and you are 18 or 19 years old) Tickets: This show will sell out — secure your tickets in advance. Bílskúrshljómsveitir lýðveldisins koma út úr skúrum landsins Menningarnótt 2026 og leika bara allskonar, fönk, blús, popp og rokk. Veislan fer fram í Gamla bíói og er þetta í 10. sinn sem hátíðin er haldin Menningarnótt, en hún var fyrst haldin árið 2015. Áhugafólk í bland við reynslubolta í tónlist stíga á stokk.
