Update: SOLD. Thank you so much @nicoleseidman honored to be your first official art purchase! This took me around 6-8 hrs per day for 10 days straight. Started w one idea and just kept after it. Going to frame in a light wood and give it a coat of varnish and will be ready to go. This painting taught me a ton. I tried to just keep it playful throughout despite the tedious nature of 22,000+ squares. Please share if you’d like, it’s called Delayed Gratification and is 36x48”. Huge thanks to my friend @evita.sanchez for putting this edit together for me, a little glimpse into my process. Evita is a g. She’s my former roommate, rides bikes, sick photographer, ceramicist, and loves volleyball. Her favorite color is light tan.
I’ll be at @buddys_wine_ventura tomorrow(Wednesday) from 5-9pm, taking a piece from start to finish. Hope to see you there, I have no idea what I’ll make but it’s gonna be fun, there’s a little interactive element happening as well.
