Monday through this morning, I made the trip up to Chicago to audition for the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale to try my hand at getting accepted into their MFA Acting Program. I knew that I wasn’t getting in but I wanted to take a shot at this and give it my all. I showed up authentically and prepared and I did the best that I could. I was lucky enough to be called back for Second Looks. I was one of three who got through initial auditions to make it to second looks—out of 24 other incredibly talented artists in my time slot and for that, I am so incredibly proud of myself. It proved to me that I have come a long way and worked really hard and I deserve to be apart of this community of working artists—that I was good enough to be here, now. It was one of the best audition experiences I have ever had and I will carry this moment with me and this feeling of pride and validation through the rest of my career.
On top of this amazing experience, I made a trip out of it with my bestie @hannah_duncan592 and we had an absolute blast eating really great food, exploring Chicago’s great museums, drinking and playing games, and spending some really great quality time together. And we’ve also got picture’s of us—Together! Huge win for 2026.
In short, I set out to do something, I did it—even when I was scared—and I got a really wonderful experience out of it—that’s really all that matters. I couldn’t be more grateful right now. Thank you.

The last two pictures really tell you how I feel about closing The Curious Savage at Stray Dog Theatre… I’ma miss working with these people so much 🥹🥹❤️❤️ To everyone who saw this show, thank you. To all of my cast mates, you are all amazing and wonderful. I’ll be thinking about this for a long time to come…

You see, here’s the thing that they tell you about college but it never really hits until you start to experience it for yourself and the people around you start to point it out. It changes you. Besides the education and the training, the massive weight loss, and the amazing friends and family that I have made along the way—circle back on that later—biggest thing is that, when I started out, I really thought I knew who I was and what I wanted. Now, I leave college with a realistic idea of who I am as a person and am slowly getting closer to discovering what’s going to make me happy. As cheesy as it sounds, I am leaving college with a bunch of paths in front of me and only a sliver of an idea as to which one I should choose. I am thoroughly excited—and scared—to see where I end up, but I can’t wait to find out. Also, to my professors and educators who have guided me along the way and shown me what my heart wants and what I am capable of: Thank you. You really don’t know how much that means to me.

Now, to all of the friends and family that I have made along the way, Thank you for everything; For the love and care that you have shown me. You’ve challenged me and made me something more and for that I am truly forever grateful. No matter how far away we may be from each other, whether it’s a 15 to 30 minute drive or you are halfway across the country and we may never see each other again, I am literally a drive, phone call, text, DM—whichever way you so choose—do not even hesitate, please. You can trust that I’ll be reaching out to y’all too. I would also like to add that there are a huge number of people that I wanted to put in this that mean so much to me but I just absolutely suck at capturing important moments and people—only one of these photos in here is one that I actually took and I’m sure it’s obvious which one.

So, it’s been about two weeks since this show has closed and I just wanna say thank you to everyone who has made my last college show a special one. Getting to play Jean-Michel with the rest of this incredible cast was a fantastic experience. My only regret is that I wish I had taken more pictures 🥺 PS: The last video is very much worth watching

Stage Combat Final: Really proud of how this turned out. Also very happy about the fact I got to do this in heels and a corset. Call it the perfect end to this semester and a perfect send off to all of the beautiful and amazingly talented people I have gotten to work with this semester. Much love to y’all.
