SoCal trip marks 2k miles in the NSX.  Some highlights:
I thought the car wasn’t going to crank halfway through my roadtrip but that was my own stupidity
 Car threw a CEL because it was unhappy about the speed sensor breaking which threw me for an anxious loop because I was 300 miles from home

Brake pedal stopper shattered into little plastic bits leaving my brake lights on. this probably from a hard braking situation on the freeway that left my brakes being cooked and smelling burnt   I am not going to lie, my initial impression of the NSX is that it’s boring. The long gearing and relatively uneventful VTEC crossover make the car very different from any other Honda I’ve owned. I think where this car shines is that the longer you own it, the more you appreciate the car. I can’t even pinpoint exactly what I love about the car other than I always want to grab the keys to this car with whatever boring errand I want to do. We made a road trip down 1 in this car and it did not let me down and the experience was very comfortable. such magnificent piece of engineering by @garagebin

out of all the cars i’ve owned, the ek9 is a top 2 experience for me and it might not be 2

left ucsd as a subaru fan and came back to ucsd as a honda enthusiast.

swipe to see when posing in front of geisel with your car was allowed

kinda miss the wrx. not because of the car itself but rather what that car meant to me. my dad sacrificed a lot to get the car that i wanted and when i tried to repay him he used that money on a car my sister wanted. he always puts others wants over his own. with that said i know he would disapprove of the ek9 because it’s “old and unsafe” by @garagebin
