Yeah, so I’m a cat guy now … Meow! 😻

He belongs to Mr. Steve @metro_woodworks and Mrs. @thatlauraruby 🐈 We met when I visited Mr. Steve’s workshop to get a host gift with my mom this past weekend 🪵 The cutting board she got was a hit with the recipient — it’s the one with round “cookies” embedded in it (featured in these photos) 🥰

Did you see Mr. Steve outside the Meat Counter during the Sidewalk Sale on Madison Street on Saturday⁉️ If so, what did you buy? 🛍️

Don’t forget, @forestparksfinest has Mr. Steve’s cutting boards on display all the time, if you also need a quick gift (especially for someone who values art and quality craftsmanship) 🎁 The cutting and charcuterie boards are all super chic 🪚 And, if you see something here that’s not in the butcher shop (when you go buy your meat, of course 🥩), you can contact Mr. Steve directly to buy it ☎️ He does commission work too! You might have seen some of it featured at @garagegalleriesforestpark or on @wgnnews 🤩

Shop small ya’ll … like me ♥️🐶🐾 by @garagegalleriesforestpark

I just found out my buddy, Mr. Bret Juliano, is coming back to Forest Park tomorrow! 🙃

After a successful showing at Garage Galleries, Mr. Bret was asked to paw-ticipate as one of the featured artists in the @exploreforestpark Sidewalk Chalk Art Walk (and Sidewalk Sale) on MY STREET (Madison Street)❣️

I’ve been savoring this pic before sharing it with you all, because I’m just so darn touched that Mr. Bret made this for me ♥️🐶🐾 It was gifted to me last weekend during @garagegalleriesforestpark 🥰

What you’re seeing here is my very own Arlo Art, emulating THE @dustbunnymahfia that Mr. Bret created. I could not be more honored to have this amazing drawing of me in his unique style (being tougher than I could ever be in real life 😝)

Meeting Mr. Bret has definitely been a highlight for me and my mom this year. Please check out his sidewalk chalk art tomorrow (8/29) — it’s going to be inspired by REAL Forest Park history 🤯 He’ll also have a fresh supply of “Tales from the Neighborhood: Chicago” back in stock after selling out last weekend 📖 by @garagegalleriesforestpark

What’s in the box?!?! 📦 Me! 🙃

Mr. Steve, and Mrs. Laura, let me pop in on them at their house today because my mom and I needed a last minute host gift for a paw-ty this weekend 🙃

My mom is obsessed with the cutting board we bought from Mr. Steve @metro_woodworks at @garagegalleriesforestpark last weekend❣️So, he let us come over uninvited today to see what else is in his wood shop 🥰

You don’t have to be as rude as us though 😝 Mr. Steve regularly sells his cutting boards at The Meat Counter on Madison Street — there’s always several on display at @forestparksfinest 🥩

Mr. Steve will be there tomorrow (8/29) for the Madison Street Sidewalk Sale 🛍️ Please go say “hi” to him, and tell him Arlo sent you ♥️🐶🐾

Also, check out this artwork Ms. @jessicametro made (she’s Mr. Steve’s daughter). They were on display at Garage Galleries, but people might not have realized they were part of the sale. My mom is excited to be purchasing this piece (last two pics), but there are TWO others still available. Mr. Steve is going to put a frame on ours before we bring it home. It’s STUNNING in person (or, in pup) 🤩 There’s still time for you to get your own 🪵 by @garagegalleriesforestpark
