No better feeling than... dancing to the beat of the dhol with your sisters, the voice of @priteevarsani & band AND of course catching the chakkar & taali on beat...oooffff πŸ₯Ή Once you understand Garba, from the musicality to the rhythm, the soul, the meaning, the history...it's a feeling like no other to play πŸ’ƒ It's something that can't be taught or explained fully...just something you feel so deeply...so passionately...so unapologetically...a connection to time & creation of the universe & life itself...just magical in every way...goosebumps whilst writing this ❀️ Grateful for this wonderful artform that has taught me so much and even more grateful for being able to share this with so many people through @garbaflow πŸ₯°πŸ§Ώ The best Navratri with the bestest souls ✨️ #garba #navratri #dance #festival #soul by @garbaflow

Shubh Navratri to all πŸ₯° As we enter our favourite time of year, we would like to honour and appreciate the beautiful feminine divine energy within us all. May your nights be filled with light, love & lots of dancing πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί Nine nights, one feeling. As we dance to the beat of the dhol and the rhythm of our taali's, whether you've been going to Garba your whole life, or someone new wanting to learn more, our Garba family welcome you with open arms! πŸ₯Ή If you catch any of us at a Garba night, come and say hello! We would love to meet as many of you! ✨️ Here's to nine nights of music, movement, devotion, laughter and lots of memories created! Capture them and tag us as we'd love to see our GF family enjoying Navratri! πŸ“Έ Thank you for all the support, with all our love always, Team Garba Flow ❀️🧿 by @garbaflow
The Prachin Project: Garba Workshop πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ίβ€οΈπŸ§Ώ What has been something we have wanted to bring to the Garba Flow family for years is FINALLY happening! After initially creating The Prachin Project (Divada Pragtavu Maadi) in 2020 during lockdown, and prior to that spending time researching the history of Garba, Gujarati folk dance, music and our arts through the diaspora lens...through interviews, reading, spending hours looking through as many resources as possible - we knew we wanted to do so much more to celebrate Prachin Garba! πŸ₯Ή And so...we are soooo excited to be hosting a special Prachin Garba workshop by our one and only Dhru Patel on Saturday 10th October 2pm to 4pm! πŸ•ΊπŸ§Ώ Tickets are super limited so we urge you all to purchase tickets ASAP to secure your spot! πŸ₯° Please book your tickets via www.garbaflow.com/tickets (link also in bio) ❀️ We hope to see as many of you there on Saturday 10th October! πŸ™ #prachin #traditional #garba #roots #dance by @garbaflow
