A whole lot of R&D packed into a few seconds.

This process lets a single design scale up or down and be cast in different materials, thanks to the flexibility of 3D design and printing. It also opens up possibilities for recycling or composting—still testing that myself with #RegenPHA filament, and exploring biodegradable resins too.

I also designed a few moulds to be 3D printed. Maybe someday I’ll try high-heat resins and go for foam latex pieces. For now, time and budget led me here—hence the AI part at the end.

公平 - Fairness - Imparcialidad

I sculpted, 3D scanned, enhanced, hollowed and assembled a mech that was 3D printed and turned into what you see in the video.

The 3D enhancement was an unexpected happy accident/decision after my sculpture's mould mysteriously disappeared, and I was unable to cast the head and jaw with urethane resin.

Software and tools used: #ZBrush, #Fusion360, CreaForm 50mm scanner, #Prusa MK4S, #FormLabs Form 1.

The neck is a slight mod from @hendrikxworkshop original mech.
