Meagan & Jaxson’s wedding vibe was romantic, modern and effortlessly cool. White, pink and fresh greens captured the heart of the couple with layers of dahlias, arums, anemones, anthurium, tulips, delphinium and orchids 🤍🌷🌱 Photographer | @danielchaferphotography Venue | @thebowerestate Florals | @garden.graffiti Styling | @sagebyannalise Coordination | @forloveandliving taken in The Bower Estate by @garden.graffiti

Burnt toffee roses, raspberry ranunculus and plum tulips, with rust cymbidium orchids, china pink foliage and chocolate lace tucked through. The kind of palette that makes winter feel warm. Twin vintage urns up on draped plinths in Hillstone’s courtyard ceremony space, and that wall of nature’s own bougainvillaea behind Kat & Angus doing the rest of the work… no notes 🌿 Photographer | @toddhuntermcgaw Venue | @hillstonestlucia Florals | @garden.graffiti Brisbane newlywed couple with wedding floral urns taken in Hillstone St Lucia by @garden.graffiti

Vintage charm with a contemporary twist, the Summit’s new space is perfect for weddings & events with unique character and effortless elegance. We added a mix of vintage touches and modern elements opting for a soft tonal palette with green, lavender and chocolate. Brass finishes tie the concept together with textured, delicate and whimsical floral styling. An incredible group of vendors came together for this shoot: Location | @thesummit.restaurant Photographer | @toddhuntermcgaw Florist | @garden.graffiti Stationary | @sagebyannalise Gowns | @darbbridal Hair and Makeup | @hayleesmithmakeup Suits | @wilvalor Cake | @cakesbyjudyc Lighting | @outofthedarkeventlighting Models | @saintmodelmgmtaus @caitlin.m0rgan Car hire | @eddie.the.ek Brisbane wedding florist, wedding flowers, Brisbane wedding florals, Mount Coot-tha wedding, the Summit Wedding taken in The Summit Restaurant- Mt Cootha by @garden.graffiti

Part 1. Everyone assumes Garden Graffiti is just a nice catchy name. But it’s eight years on this September, so I’m unpacking the story behind the brand. And the story behind me. I trained in theatre before I trained in flowers (slide 2 can confirm 🤡). It became clear fairly quickly that jobs in the arts were quite non-existent, so I turned my head to studying floral design at TAFE. In 2014, I carried an arbour piece across a paddock and had one of those moments where you just know. This was the job for me! Then came London, where I ended up running a flower shop that was colourful and wild and loose. Garden-picked, full of texture and movement. Here is where I worked out what I actually wanted flowers to look like. In between there was a lot of travel, and teaching workshop retreats in Italy. 🍝 I then flew to New York and freelanced with whoever would have me. Graffiti everywhere in the streets of Bushwick, colour on steroids, edgy and modern and loud. The Garden, from London. The Graffiti, from New York. I came home to Brisbane in September 2018 with a logo, a very empty bank account and the best experiences. Part 2 coming, with how it actually started. Clue: my parents’ laundry….. Swipe for the photo evidence! taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @garden.graffiti

Wrapped in white, grounded in chocolate or layered with florals, our draped arch creates a strong frame without prescribing the final look. Part of the Austinvilla Estate hire range, it can be shaped around your palette, setting and celebration. taken in Austinvilla Estate by @garden.graffiti
