Congratulations to Garden City alumnus Trevor Yeboah-Kodie on his induction into the Nassau County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026!

One of the most dynamic and accomplished athletes in Garden City history, Trevor excelled as a two-sport standout, leaving an unforgettable legacy on both the football field and lacrosse field.

As a football player, Trevor was a Gatorade Player of the Year, leading the Trojans to multiple championships while rewriting the record books. His explosive athleticism, game-changing ability, and leadership helped establish one of the most successful eras in Garden City football history.

On the lacrosse field, Trevor was equally dominant, helping lead Garden City to New York State Championships before continuing his athletic career at the Division I level with Brown University.

While the accolades and records are impressive, Trevor’s impact extends beyond statistics. His work ethic, competitiveness, and commitment to excellence made him a role model for future generations of Trojan athletes.

This honor is a testament to an incredible career and a lasting legacy that continues to inspire the Garden City community.

Congratulations, Trevor, on this well-deserved recognition. Trojan Nation is proud of all you have accomplished and grateful for the legacy you have left behind. by @gardencityfb

Two outstanding Trojan athletes whose dedication, leadership, and excellence helped define greatness at Garden City High School.

Ella Heaney excelled as a standout two-sport athlete in lacrosse and field hockey, earning All-County, All-State, and All-American recognition while helping lead Garden City to multiple New York State Championships. She continued her lacrosse career at USC and has remained a tremendous example of leadership, service, and commitment to others.

Brett Stewart left an unforgettable mark on the football program, leading the Trojans to a Long Island Championship while earning All-County, All-Long Island, and All-State honors. Honoring a Legend. Remembering a Legacy.

Garden City proudly celebrates the induction of the late Tom Flatley into the USA Lacrosse National Hall of Fame.

The 2026 USA National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, honoring the Class of 2025, was held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the M&T Bank Exchange

Accepting the honor on behalf of the Flatley family was Tom’s son, Michael Flatley, representing a legacy that continues to shape the game and the lives of countless student-athletes.

Also in attendance were Garden City coaches Steve Finnell, standing in support of a man whose impact on lacrosse, mentorship, and character endures far beyond the field.

Congratulations to the Flatley family on this well-deserved and historic honor.
