A recap from last month’s Long Table event. A truly magical day, with delicious food provided by Michelin star chef @delportjean from @interludesussex - So much planning went into creating this special event (mini bouquets, fresh flower arranging, seating & table design to name a few). Many thanks also to @nkukulife for the glassware & cutlery they provided for the table-scaping for the event.

It’s 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 - Dedicated to Holly Summer - the love of mine and Rod’s life ❤️

Growing up with two self driven business owner parents is both challenging and hopefully inspiring. Being brought up around flower shows to some extent means our dear Holly, a flower child in the truest sense of the expression, has been with us from the beginning. It’s in her blood to work hard, and what we have exposed her to in her formative years is certainly a life of living outdoors.

Here are some photos from our Hampton Court and Chelsea visits back in the day {omg she’s going to kill us!} exploring the gardens & our own trade stands, and discovering the beauty of the natural world together. She’s supported us in every crazy adventure and idea…often making us stop in our tracks at her maturity and strength when tough decisions and long hours need to be done.

Now 24, we’re so proud of the woman she has become, not following in our footsteps of owning a business just yet, {although secretly we know that will change}, and carving out a career for herself, with her home being filled with beautiful objects from her travels, and she’s always most happiest living outdoors just like us. This post is dedicated to you, our darling. We love you to the beach and back xox

Towards the end of last month we attended a small B2B event with Wright Landscapes at Pickmere Nurseries. How gorgeous does the Amani canopy look on display? 🌱

You wouldn’t believe for a second this is England. This year’s English summer looks more like a postcard from holidays in the Mediterranean ☀️

𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 - Outdoor Styling with @debswinrow

Winter outdoor spaces don’t have to follow the usual rules ❄️

Sometimes forgetting the expected seasonal colours, cosy clichés and traditional winter styling can be just what is needed to enhance your outdoor living areas. Your outdoor space can be thoughtfully curated to reflect your own taste, aesthetic and way of living.

From considered textures and subtle tones to statement pieces and timeless finishes, winter design can feel sophisticated, personal and entirely your own.

Seasonal styling should never mean compromising on your personal style.

Here are some creative ideas I love (shown below in order of appearance expressing my own taste & style)

~ Styling on VLAZE Chalk kitchen @vlazesurface
~ GHD Table Styling with decorative mugs and saucers
~ Hanging Mint Basket (always love having herbs around throughout each season)
~ Ceramic mugs by my favourites @sthalceramics
~ CaneLine Sticks Sofa and Styling. I love these gorgeous integrated side tables. I always like to pop a tray here with plants, diffusers & accessories to make outdoor spaces feel homey.
