As if losing good friend of the band James Kelly/Slim Chance this week was not bad enough, we are saddened to hear of the loss of Joseph as well. Most people in the punk/metal scene have surely crossed paths with Joe and know what a genuinely awesome guy he was. Atlanta lost two of its best men this week. This photo of Danny and Joe was from about 8 years or so ago on a night when Joe was drumming for at least two bands on the bill. by @gardens.of

Probably our last Atlanta show for the year, but it is a good one. The Crosses (ex Die Kreuzen), Vic Bondi & His Issues (ex Articles of Faith) and Los Ojos Muertos. THIS IS ONE YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS. It'd probably be a good idea to buy advance tickets so you don't miss out on this killer show. Available at www.eyedrum.org or via the link in our bio. See ya there! @vicbastard @the_crosses_band @losojosmuertos @eyedrum @kelsey.grillot by @gardens.of

It is going to be a fun weekend. Really looking forward to checking out Wilmington, as I’ve heard it has some good things going on. @coccabal @therumjacks @strikeanywhereofficial by @gardens.of

In a 7 weeks we will be playing at Port City Blitz fest in Wilmington NC. One of the other bands playing that day is Bedlam Hour, who we played with 38 years ago today at Excelsior Mill, which would later become the original @masquerade_atl location. It’ll be fun reconnecting with the guys that we haven’t seen in almost 4 decades. @portcityblitz @bedlamhourofficial by @gardens.of

@chlorideatl had to drop off this show, so @losojosmuertos has jumped on. This is a killer lineup and I would suggest buying tickets in advance at www.eyedrum.org or via the ticket link in our bio @kelsey.grillot @vicbastard @the_crosses_band @eyedrum by @gardens.of

Fantastic lineup. More diverse than most gigs I go to, with each band bringing something unique. Crushing doom with keyboard effects that take you deeper into the void. A guitar and drums duo wearing tropical shirts but rocked harder than Don Ho. No Kingdom gave me a bit of early Meat Puppets vibe - a highlight for me, and their cover of Leonard Cohen’s “The Partisan” has got to be heard. And the reason I went out was to see Gardens of… The digital album they just released is really good and they lived up to my expectations seeing them live. Get the album and see them out the next time they play. Lineup: @black_fractal_atl @twintrances @nokingdomband @gardens.of As always, @boggssocial by @gardens.of
