What a guy though, I used to volunteer in an Oxfam with a lady who was at university with him. She said he was always like that #timcurry by @gareth81510

One of my favourite books is this one.
There's a story but it's not really about what happened, but how Joana our main character remembers it.
Joana sees her own life in her own way. Life gave her a way if living and she responded with 'not me'.
I don't know if events are real but feel unreal or if they generally happened or not and that's a beauty of the story. Either way, it is how her mind has recalled it. As she sits and meditates...

Otherwise just read Spinoza she took a lot from him on this.

Probably bitten off more than I can chew with this one, he's like the Rabbie Burns of Swedish as he wrote some of his work in his Värmland dialect, might take my time with Gustaf. #gustaffröding by @gareth81510

My two cents now, I can't add more to what has already been said for thousands of years , chunks of it is cut out, but as for this adaptation.

It's fine, it's totally fine. Did i like it? Yes. Did I love it? No.

It's more to do with psychology and mental health than an actual mythological epic. Given it's Hollywood it is very American and i think it says more about America's place in the world (incl casting decisions which if anything, work). Being the Odyssey it's a shame it's a 15 rating and not an 18. We know why but they could have done so much more.

I'm fascinated by the fact that like in Oppenheimer with his bomb, Ody's horse causes utter chaos to end the siege/war. it's a shame Hector/Achilles/Paris didn't get a look in given that Agamemnon could have been played by anyone with a bit of stockiness to them. by @gareth81510
