Like a piece of origami, we are continually being molded and folded into new shapes of ourselves. I’ve been shaped by so many amazing experiences this year in 2025. Although this is a highlight reel- it’s exactly what is says it is- the HIGHlights. What’s not seen, are the moments in between these cuts of the incredible low moments I’ve had to get through this year. (And still going through.) 2025 has been one of the hardest years yet, with constant change and a lot of insecurity, but I’ve gotten to do a lot of living and learning. I know that 2026 is going to be an amazing year too! To everyone who I’ve met or gotten closer to this year, I’m so grateful for you and grateful for what you teach me everyday through your kindness, listening and openness. My return trip to Guatemala this year was all that I could have hoped for. This place has a way of grabbing ‘hold of you. The friends I have made here I will continue to cherish always. Guate is easily becoming one of my favorite spots to visit. Hasta la próxima vez! by @garjacobs

España will always a hold a special place in my heart. I have so much respect for the way of life here, and what keeps me coming back is the way the Spanish love who they are, they’re not interested in being anything else but themselves collectively. Brazil 🇧🇷: You’ve been so good to me this last week. Without hesitation, I can honestly say it’s one of the most vibrant and alive places I’ve ever traveled. People always say it seems kind of dangerous but to me the most dangerous part is never wanting to leave; such gentle happy and generous people, and I cannot wait to come back and visit soon. This is 30. My 20’s were so good to me, and I really struggle with goodbyes. Sometimes I can’t even get to the end of a TV series….I dread the last episode, because I know that there is simply no more of the world or the characters I’ve come to love. I’m saying goodbye to a part of my life that isn’t coming back and that can feel really tough for me. My 20’s have taught me that life can be so unpredictable and the things that you think will never change about yourself, get completely flipped around, and the pieces you thought would change can stay the same. The relationships I’ve built, (and sometimes let go of) have molded and shaped me into the version of myself I am today. So far 2025 has just been one big change after another, but I feel excited to see what this new chapter/ era brings. Here’s to our 30’s @gracelizross by @garjacobs
