All-State 2026!

There aren’t enough words to express how I feel about saying goodbye to this chapter of my life. What an honor it is to say I’ve been an All-State musician for four years, and what an honor it is to have the constant support from my family and friends to keep becoming a better person and a better musician. No matter what’s next, I know that the Lord is guiding my steps.

This weekend was a bittersweet end to four short years, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you.

One month ago, if you’d asked me what I felt about governor’s school, I probably would’ve cried. Today, my response is still the same… though I think my why has changed.

In only three weeks, I’ve found my people. In only three weeks, I’ve been allowed the joy of being genuine. In only three weeks, my entire perspective of music and the arts has shifted.

Three weeks ago, I was angry that I was missing out on experiences back home. Three weeks ago, I was scared of what was to come. There were so many unknowns. Now, I realize.

The great architect of life— God my father and friend— brought me here. He defined my family; He defined my purpose. He proved how much He can work in the wide open spaces, and showed me just how much He can do with the inner workings of my heart.

My biggest takeaway from the program is this: people. Cherish both the joy and the sorrow that come from goodbye. Turn the mirror away from yourself, and shine His light outward. Do good. You never know whose life you’ll impact.

Thank you for impacting mine. taken in Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts by @garner.e.d

Too many words come to mind when I think of Camp Ocoee this year. The Lord’s hand was overwhelmingly prominent this week, and I thank Him and Him alone for the lives changed. THANK YOU JESUS! taken in Ocoee Ridge Camp by @garner.e.d
