Crystal mountain folks!!!

I’ll always call this place home. There’s nothing better than waking up to a fresh blanket of snow waiting to be ripped! I’ve met some of the coolest people up here and formed some of the strongest bonds. Only few will truly know what it’s like to be on i constant hunt for fresh turns. I’m amazed at how this picture turned out as I’ve never been so stoked to capture a place i love!

Been MIA on my personal account. I’ve spent a lot of time this summer working on growing @innovation.excavation so ultimately posting travel photos has taken a back seat. Anyway here are some photos from a few months ago in turkey! Saw hundreds of hot air balloons take off for sunrise and it might look warm but it was a nice nippy 32 degrees that morning. I had just flown in from Thailand and had to buy some warmer clothes because I did not pack accordingly, but that’s nothing new. A Few weeks ago I had the privilege of seeing elephants in the wild. There’s something so real and authentic about taking away the glass and fences we’ve been accustomed to viewing animals through. Watching them eat, roam and bathe was something I’ve only ever seen on tv, but being that close really puts into perspective how big these creatures actually are.

As I’m writing this it’s 1am in Thailand, I can’t sleep, my room is stifling yet I’ve never felt more content. Time moves different here, the sunsets linger, everyone is present and friendly.

The more I travel the more I realize what we as a western society consider “normal” is really all spoon fed propaganda to keep us in the rat race. I miss home, I miss my dogs, but I don’t miss the unnecessary stress, taxes, taxes, taxes, gas prices and pessimism. Beyond blessed and forever grateful to live this life by @garrett.quiles
