Honored to have received my blue belt from @fabioleandrobjj last weekend 🙏🏼

Just under a year ago, I walked into @gripjiujitsuteam to start training BJJ and MMA, not knowing anyone and honestly not knowing much about the journey I was beginning. Fast forward to today and this gym has become an extended family to me. No egos, just hard work, respect, and people who genuinely want to see each other grow.

To our coaches, thank you for pouring your time, knowledge, and energy into all of us. To my teammates, thanks for absolutely destroying me everyday 😂

First and foremost, God is the greatest! Thank you Lord for giving @joyboyibarrola and I the opportunity to come out on short notice and put on a performance! Cannot thank @mamstaylor and the entire team at @misfitsboxing enough for how amazing they are to work with! This would not have been possible if not for their resilient effort!

We got the call on Monday, flew across the world on Wednesday, had 3 different opponents in a matter of days and still persevered without any camp! It takes two to tango, thank you James Springer for taking the fight on a days notice! True warrior mindset!

With all that being said, this is only the beginning of a long career at Misfits for Justin. Cannot wait for what’s to come 🙏🏼 One day we will tell the story, but for now it’s still being written @joyboyibarrola . taken in Derby, England, Unitled Kingdom by @garrettgager
