🚨GARY ABLETT JNR CONFIRMED TO PLAY IN T20 GOLD CLASH - FOOTY VS CRICKET 🏏👀

AFL great Gary Ablett Jr is the first wildcard player announced to play for Team Cricket at the inaugural T20 Cairns Gold Clash.

Yep. Team Cricket.

The Little Master is a two-time Brownlow medallist, eight-time All-Australian and five-time Leigh Matthews Trophy winner, with 357 AFL games and two premierships to his name.

Now, he’s swapping the Sherrin for a cricket bat and lining up alongside Ash Barty, Brian Lara, Usman Khawaja, Matthew Hayden & Michael Hussey.

And the best part? He’ll be facing off against some familiar footy foes, including Dale Thomas, Joel Selwood & Isaac Smith. 👀

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share something really close to my heart.

Back in 2020, my wife and I started a charity called Active Faith. One of our biggest focuses has been supporting mums and babies after learning the heartbreaking reality that every six seconds a newborn is lost to preventable causes, and every two minutes a mother dies from pregnancy or childbirth complications. Most of these tragedies can be prevented with basic medical care, nutrition, and safe birth support.

Every child deserves a safe start to life but for millions of mums and babies living in poverty, that’s not their reality.

That’s why I’m taking the 1 Million Pledge. @1millionpledge
