With heavy legs from the marathon last weekend, I raced the Blue Heron 5K today in Golden Gate Park. But that's nothing. James Scanlan pictured here with me broke the world record for our age group last weekend for the 12-hour run with a distance of 140 km. by @garygellin

The Columbia River Gorge is extremely wide. Try to spot the semi trucks on the interstate across the river. If I did the math right in my head, a minimum of 12 million gallons flows every 12 inches. by @garygellin

This running thing is getting harder while the pace is getting a lot slower, but I'm not ready for pickleball yet. Got the Boston Qualifier today at the Missoula Marathon on a cold and wet day. 4th in M55-59 - 3rd went by while I took a pit stop at mile 16. by @garygellin
