For the month of August the 🌈 CookBook Club in Toronto selected the Picnic: Recipes and Inspiration from Basket to Blanket by Marnie Hanel, Andrea Slonecker @andreaslonecker & Jen Stevenson - everything we made from this book we truly enjoyed and learned a few things while making these recipes. We give this cook book a 4.4 out of 5 🐻 by @garyindigo

Had such a wonderful experience at the famous @michelin @michelin_mexico restaurant @sud777mx and I must say, they really touched my heart and soul there. I had a moment eating a dish that brought me to tears because it reminded me of home and my lost brother. The staff where hospitable, warm and friendly. Sending chefs kisses to the chef, crew and staff at SUD 777. I HIGHLY recommend to go here if you ever are visiting CDMX.

I was blessed to catch a performance by the Voladores just as I left from the Museo Nacional de Antropologia right at the park and man, these wonderful Kings are breathtaking to watch and please, buy crafts from them and tip them well, the Voladores work hard in what they do. Here’s a little info on who and what Voladores do.

The ritual ceremony of the Voladores (‘flying men’) is a fertility dance performed by several ethnic groups in Mexico and Central America, especially the Totonac people in the eastern state of Veracruz, to express respect for and harmony with the natural and spiritual worlds. taken in Bosque de Chapultepec by @garyindigo

I would never imagine in my life my brother dying the way he did. He didn’t deserve to be murdered like that. I’m so torn, lost at words and very angry. I just want to hold you in my arms and tell you I love you for eternity. I know your spirit is around and felt you hug me last night, felt my hair stand and heard electricity when you consoled me right after I lit a candle for you and had your baby picture in front of it. I can’t wait for Justice to take care of these criminals and I know they will be caught in due time. Until we reunite again up there (and I can’t wait to see you and hug you). I love you so much Jevon 🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️ by @garyindigo

My client Kien came back after a few months and mentioned he only trust me with his hair and been doing his hair for almost 6 plus years. I did my magic and he looks like a STAR!
