you know what time it is! it’s sunday so you’re automatically due for another sunday refresh with me :) today i’m packing away dishes and venting about it, with the occasional dance break.

self sustained adulting has been throwing me for a bit of a loop, but it’s a process and i’m getting better at it every day! if you’re under 21, please enjoy your youth as much as possible because soon your focus will be paying bills on time, buying groceries and lots and lots of dishwashing and packing.

celebrated dales third birthday & he was very excited about it🌱😭🥹

it was my turn to cook dinner, so i opted for spaghetti bolognaise, but ended up crying because i thought i messed it up🫩💔 @chris222pher thought otherwise though🥲🩵

went to africa’s biggest marketing conference for work & i got to interview donovan goliath🎙️⭐️

at said marketing conference, KFC india blew me away with the amazing campaigns they’ve executed. the creativity is on another level & it got me inspired into thinking how we can take more creative risks as a country🫶🏾🤞🌱

had a braai at the office, aperol spritz was flowing👨🏾‍🍳as it should be!

my debut album “functional” coming soon🎙️ (i’m kidding) this was work related but i cannot say more🛸

me during my all nighter to reset my body & brain chemistry (i’ll report back if it ended up working)🤠

we finally have tide products in south africa thanks to @walmartza and i couldn’t be happier!⭐️🩵

my zozo appreciated my presentation around our website. i’m excited about that🫶🏾🌱⭐️been working tirelessly on this.

to wrap it up, an iced cold brew is my new favorite obsession. i’ve never been one for store bought cold brew, however i discovered i can make cold brew at home using my french press, cold water & letting it steep in the fridge for 12hrs. i was pleasantly surprised at how much i enjoyed it🐌🤎🧊☕️ taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @garyjohnnn

Spend the day with us at the @sowetokotafestival (Thanks to JoziFm!)⭐️

What an unforgettable experience this was. From amazing hospitality to great music & good food (not shown here unfortunately)⭐️ a top tier experience!

Forever grateful for my job for providing me with such great opportunities <3 and to be able to share it with my loved ones (Chris LOVED it)🫶🏾🥹

let’s create a brown shaken espresso (gary’s version) together ✮⋆˙ during my several attempts creating content consistently, i used to post a lot of coffee making videos, and it felt right to do another one at this time in my life. I’m older, i’ve moved out of my parents house, i’ve been in a serious relationship for over 5 years and i’m feeling stable career wise. A lot has changed, but my love for an iced coffee drink has not <3.

Ingredients & Items needed to make my brown sugar shaken espresso:

French Press - @checkers_sa
2 tbsp ground coffee (@gorillascoffeesa is the best!)
vanilla (syrup, essence or extract)
3 tsp brown sugar
ice :) lots of ice.
milk (any of your choosing)
a shaker (metal or even a protein shaker)
