Vestige, my second (technically third) full album is out now on everything. Thanks alot to anyone who listens and enjoys. I certainly enjoyed writing it, and it was a cathartic experience to say the least. The tracks are varied, some just plain old lo-fi folk, others are pretty hectic, but the thing they all have in common is they appeared at the same time out of the same thing.

Written recorded and produced by yours truly

Thank you to @gabecl__ for help with track selection and finishing touches as always

Lots of love by @garylengrayhen

If you find yourself in a niche physical media competition, I have got you covered

It is my pleasure to be able to say that you can buy vestige on cassette. This is my first ever time having a physical copy of an album I've made, and its been so cool. The lovely label Poison Alder reached out to me and offered to do a run of limited edition cassettes, and they handled all of the production side so I really ain't had to do anything except pick my favourite colour. They came out so well and the poison alder team have been a pleasure to work with. You can now listen to blown out cassette tape riffs on a pristine beautiful cassette tape, or just have it on a shelf to show how cool and indie you are. I dont judge.

And getting one really supports both me, and cool labels like poison alder who just do stuff because its cool, not for the money.

Lincoln bio and if u get one please please dm me I got bandcamp codes for everybody.

Hidden unreleased track on cassette only ;) first person to upload it to YouTube gets a personalised happy birthday

Mmmmmmmmmmm

That shall be all taken in Dublin, Ireland by @garylengrayhen

Robot was supposed to be an EP but I kinda got carried away so there is 11 tracks instead of the original 5. It is out today.

Its basically about the intersection of technology and nature and leaving town but also its not really about any of those things at all. Yesternight, data centre and lever ended up being the singles

[Lines in the sky]

Remain, the first track is about wanting to go

[Generators in the trees]

Smashed, is an ode to friendships that wont work

This song is about friendships that you think are going to fail, and how you feel hopeless in making them work. Its comprised of 3 parts.

The 1st
Is an acoustic song, upbeat in order to show how you can try and be happy about it , the vocals though sound disingenuous

The 2nd part is a guitar solo, intentionally over distorted as if you are trying to communicate, but the words arent getting through

The 3rd part is
How you dont blame them. You dont want them to apologise, but its sang through a vocoder in order to show how you are programmed to feel that way

[Lone pylon]

God interlude Is an interlude about my cat

[Heart shaped bush]

Mantra is a mantra you tell yourself to feel better

[Skeleton smoking on my guitar]

Water Is about long distance relationships

[The studio]
Jobs Jobs Jobs
Is about the pain of trying to get a job in today's job market.
It gets better

[Garden]
Laura is about Laura palmer in twin peaks. It features the very talented @ailbhecado_

[Grown over speed sign]

Goodbye Is an excerpt from my diary

[The closet]

Hope you enjoy some more songs. Not sure when the next release will be, but knowing myself probably not that far away taken in Ireland (country) by @garylengrayhen

Nightmare bedroom

Music on da way
But first I have to manually switch all of my songs because DistroKid is being ruined by private equity, so apologies if it all goes missing for a little bit

This is every configuration ive ever had of my bedroom recording setup from 2019 to now

First was when I was still in secondary school, I had this awful amazon mic and my ibanez rg series electric guitar.
The last song I recorded on that mic was Lighthouse.
I then got my first ever external synth which was the arturia microfreak, and my first ever guitar pedal which was a boss sd 1. I bought an SM57, and then another one which made me run out of inputs, so I bought a tascam model 12 on Ebay. As you can see in the later photos I ran out of space pretty quick. The last photo was the bedroom in which Vestige was Recorded in, and was also the last bedroom I lived in to go to college since I am now finished.

Ive never made music in a studio, never utilised anyone else for mixing or mastering. Id like to say thats because I can do it but really its because im a control freak. by @garylengrayhen
