« Éclats », a photobook drawing on personal archives, explores what usually remains invisible behind the scenes of rhythmic gymnastics. Beneath the elegance and apparent lightness of the sport lies a regime of discipline imposed on young female bodies, along with conditions that must be endured and an injunction to remain silent. In some contexts, rhythmic gymnastics can function as a closed system, where secrecy and omerta coexist with the pursuit of excellence and performance.
