🚨 WE’RE HIRING IMMEDIATELY!

Anchor Down Transport is looking for a reliable, motivated driver to operate a Ram 3500 with a 35–36 ft, 2-car enclosed trailer. This is nationwide vehicle hauling and does not require a CDL.

I want to be clear about the position because I want the right person. This is not one of those jobs where you're expected to stay on the road for a month at a time. You will have regular opportunities to get home, but this IS a driving position. The more you're willing to work, the more opportunity there is to make money. The truck doesn't make money sitting.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in the equipment, communicates well, treats customers professionally, understands the responsibility that comes with transporting someone else's vehicle, and most importantly—shows up and works.

You'll be hauling vehicles nationwide with clean, well-maintained equipment, consistent freight, fuel support and competitive pay. Experience towing enclosed trailers, transporting vehicles, operating a Ram 3500/dually or similar equipment is definitely a plus.

42 years around the sun and 9 years in love. You keep making this shit look good too (In my Carlos voice)

This year is very special to us both. Life is so precious. You have endured more than most and still smile throughout it all. I have never met someone who rarely gets upset and always finds something good to say. Your spirit stays elevated at all times. Everyone that knows you, knows this about you.

Taking that contract to come work in Phoenix was the best decision of my life. Writing my number on that business card of yours only to see you hours later. We literally have spoken to each other every single day since then. 9 years later, we have a beautiful family, a healthy business, a roof over our head, a relationship with God, and still loving each other stronger than yesterday.

42 years is a blessing. So many didnt make it this far. You too have overcome cancer, stroke, car accidents and life in general. I thought I lost you just weeks ago, but God had a different plan. To be here now and look at your face literally as I'm writing this is a blessing from God. Only Him.

So this year, we celebrate life. We celebrate love. We celebrate our God and the passion he has placed on our hearts to this very day. Me and you are forever, ever.

Yesterday was my last time going to have lunch with Myles at school. Next year is Middle school and we dont get to do parent lunches there.

I've been doing this ever since he was in kindergarten. It was a highlight for us during each month. Sometimes I would go 2-3x monthly. Why? Because he depends on me showing up and it gives us some extra with our limited schedule together.

Yesterday, he didnt even know I was coming. When we got there, he told me "Dad, I was just thinking today, I hope my dad comes for lunch tomorrow. Then I hear the walkie-talkie chime and call me to the parent café. I was like yoooooo. My dad came today!" Made me feel good.

These kids just want you to show up.
Show up to football practice.
Show up to award ceremonies.
Show up to get his haircut.
Show up to get him new clothes and shoes.
Show up for his science project event (that he won by the way).
Show up every morning with a text before school.
Show up to every single event in his life.

That's all he wants. Just be there. That is the easiest thing to do in life for your kids. I love you, son. by @gathafuture

They say…
if you want to be successful, get you a wife.

That behind every successful man…
is a strong woman.

I guess that’s the recipe.

Because without her…
I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I swear, when I first brought her around,
people kept telling me—

“You different now.”

I couldn’t fully see it at the time…
but I knew one thing—

I was trying to become the man I said I would be.

And sometimes…
you don’t see your own growth.

Not until you slow down…
and really look around.

Because the truth is—

We raise the bar so high for ourselves,
that even when we hit it…
we move it again.

So it feels like we’re not there yet.

But in reality?

I am better.
I am further.
I am stronger.

I’m closer to God.
Closer to my goals.
Closer to the man I’m supposed to be.

And it’s a whole lot easier…
when you have a wife and a family
that stands with you through it all.

So from every part of me—

Thank you, Mrs. Freeman.

You are the backbone of this family.
The definition of strength and grace.

The epitome of a rose.

More than enough… always.

And a huge part of every win we’ve ever had
and everything we’re still building.

“I don’t keep count… I lose count.
There’s a difference.”

That’s not cocky.
That’s maturity.

It’s not about keeping score…
who did what, who owes who, who’s up or down.

It’s understanding your path is yours.

I’ve given help.
I’ve received help.
I’ve taken wins.
I’ve taken losses.

At some point… you stop counting.

You just keep swinging.

Not for validation.
Not for applause.
Not to prove anything.

But with intention.

Do without thought…
but still with purpose.

I’ve paid to do business.
I’ve charged to help in business.

Sometimes it looked like a loss.
Sometimes it felt like a win.

But truth is—

It was neither. Not yet at least.

Because everything doesn’t reveal itself immediately.

Some things are seeds.
Some things are lessons.
Some things are setting you up.

So I don’t keep count - I lose count

I keep moving. I know it all adds up in the end.

I pray we both reach everything we ever set out for in life…

I always had this vision…
Us side by side in our dream cars.
(If you can keep up 🤣)
But truth is, we’ve been side by side way before any of that.

It was always us.
Growing up, figuring life out, learning as we went.
And somehow, we are still here — locked in the same way.

Now it’s bigger than just us.
Our kids… the “Cousin Crew.”
10 deep between the two of us.
One generation pouring into the next.
That’s legacy.

I still think about those college days…
When we talked about going into sports management.
You handling the athlete connections…
Me handling the business.
That would’ve been tough.

Life didn’t give us that chapter—
but it gave us something just as real.
We both found our lanes.
Built something.
Holding it down for our families.

And through it all…we never lost each other.

We lean on each other.
We show up for each other.
No matter what.

Not everybody has that.

So if nobody gave you your roses yet, let me be the first of many. There’s nobody I can call to ride with me like you. I love you for that.

Keep becoming the man you’re meant to be.

Caffeine & Octane — first experience was solid.
I woke up at 2 AM the night before with no plans of going. Didn’t even know it was happening until I came across a post about it. Next thing I know I’m seeing ride-outs to the show and after. Ever since I got that Chevy, I’ve been wanting to pull up to everything.
I started cleaning the car at 5 AM. Polished everything.
Around 6, I woke Myles up and asked if he wanted to go to a cool car show. He looked around at his cousins and sisters still knocked out from their sleepover the night before, then smiled and said, “Let’s do it.”
When we got there, one of the workers asked if I was in the show. I told her no, I was just there to look. She said, “No! Pull into this lane and park with the other classics — it’s free.”
Myles was geeked when he heard that. Wanted me to rev the engine, leave the hood up, the whole nine.
We walked around for a few hours and saw just about every dream car both of us could think of. They had plenty. On the ride home, Myles was already reminding me about the next Caffeine & Octane date.
Safe to say we had a good time. Just me and him. Been a while since I’ve had time with just one of the kids, and that show was perfect for it. by @gathafuture

4 years under the sun with God leading us. I never thought of love like this.

Unwavering.
Forgiving.
Forever.

Looking back at the older me, I wouldn't imagine me here today. Literally found my soul mate. I have found the reasons to love. You have made me a better man than I have ever been. I used to hear people tell us all the time "This is a new Darius." You would look at me confused, because all you knew was the man in front of you. I thank you for this moment. I thank you for this life.

We had to fight off people trying to break us only to laugh at them now. We have had moments that tested our strengths, only to know how much stronger we are together. I still cant believe some of the things that was thrown at us. Literally deflected every single thing.

We have been together now 9 years and afforded the opportunity to celebrate our love under God 4 years ago. The venue was beautiful and the family and friends that came from all over was even better.

Marriage:
It isn't easy at all and if anybody that says it is hasn't been there before. We have had plenty of highs and lows. We cant just give up, right!? You stand tall with me through any moment. Thank you for accepting me as I come. We have built a family, a business, and a legacy. I couldn't do it without you and I know you feel the same.

Lately I’ve been sitting in this weird space between confidence and straight up discomfort.
Like… I know what I’m building is solid.

I believe in the vision 100%.
But at the same time, I’m walking into rooms where I barely speak the language.

Tech talks.
Developers.
CTOs.
AI.
Architecture.
Funding models.
All of it.

Half the time I’m listening like, “I hope I don’t sound dumb right now.”
And if I’m being real, there’s always that little voice in the back of my head wondering if someone’s about to finesse me just because I’m new to this side of the game.

That’s the part nobody talks about.
Building something big when you don’t come from a tech background is uncomfortable as hell.

I didn’t go to college.
I didn’t grow up around business or money conversations.
Nobody handed me a blueprint.
Everything I know came from trial and error… and a lot of mistakes.

But one thing I’ve always had is the mindset of “I’ll figure it out.”

So here I am… learning words I’ve never used before, sitting in meetings I never thought I’d be in, making decisions that feel way bigger than me.

Some days I feel locked in.
Some days I feel overwhelmed.
Most days it’s both.

I’d rather feel uncomfortable chasing something big than comfortable staying the same.

This project isn’t just another play. It’s something that could really change my life, my family’s life, and a whole industry if we get it right.

So yeah… I’m tired.
But, I’m hungry too.

If you’re out there building something and it feels scary, you’re probably on the right path. Nothing worth it ever feels safe.

My boy is becoming a man.

For 9 years, I have stepped up to the plate to be your dad. The man that you deserved to help lead you in life to become the man that you want to be. I thank God for every moment we have had. When I was your age, I never thought I would become a dad. Nonetheless, a dad for someone else's kids. That shit sounds so weird now. Why? In my heart, I am most definitely your dad. We laugh when we hear people say we look so much alike. It's a good feeling.

I pray that God continues to lead you in life. I pray you are never fearful of the challenges that will come your way. I pray you accomplish every single goal you have made for yourself. Commit yourself to greatness. Reach further than you have ever imagined. You see me and your mom first hand what it looks like when you chase your dreams with God leading the way. Congratulations on your upcoming high school graduation.

We have a family. We have life and opportunities. We have each other. I love you so much, son. May God continue to bless your path.
