2021 4-reel

December and January were my first two months of fully committing to serving recycled vintage clothing as my full time gig. From the charming mountains of Asheville, I’ve took my garments to different states/cities and to unthought of levels of success.

I am currently in Miami doing weekly @goodsaucevintage pop ups for the month of February. I would’ve never imagined being back in my hometown working for myself after graduating college, striving to land a secure office job.

I am very grateful and mindful of the position I am in. I am also ever so focused to continue to work hard and grow. taken in Miami Beach, Florida by @gato__tom

“A once in a lifetime trip”

A constant thought that pulsated in my mind; initially during the moment I was asked to go on this adventure, while on the road and now forever.

We visited 10 states in two weeks (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Cali, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming,) and witnessed various forms/colors of nature terrains. Most moments were beautiful and some were harsh with the smog of wildfire smoke.

I’m extremely stoked and grateful to have explored some of the best national parks in the states. I’m also super glad to have shared the memories with some day one amigos @brandon_klepp @ivanskyyy @evanjpeters @ohsnapitsmikey @joaco.panizza @olavenesa @ashclinton @mariaoc127 by @gato__tom

While looking at Earth Day posts of nature photos on my feed yesterday, I decided to post some bangers out the archives from North Carolina, Hawaii, Australia and Florida... What made earth day different this year is the obvious current state of the earth we are currently in. There is an ongoing global fight against a virus which has forcefully put us all at risk in various ways such as health, safety and job security. This pandemic has shown us we are no more than guests on this planet we call home and it is essential that we respect and preserve it by extreme measures such as our response to the virus by quarantining. We must also act accordingly against all other normalities of ignored crises that were and still are prevalent in our society and around the world. We were exposed to numerous pandemics before the covid pandemic, and it is time we come together to try to bring awareness and research solutions to address the complex issues in our nation and our planet. by @gato__tom

This poem reflects the current and likely future climate change effects on our Earth. I post this to bring awareness to those who may not be aware of the ongoing lack of ecological conservation and alter the disbelief of the consequential outcomes that will impact us and more importantly the next generation. There’s a brief article in my bio that summarizes the health risks of climate climate. Hopefully, this can inspire others to share what’s going on and support environmental initiatives, politics, and lifestyles that help to protect our earth.
