A closer look at Pine Ridge Vineyards and the site behind the wines.

After expanding the winery’s brand world experience, we worked with photographer George Baker Jr. to capture the estate, from the iconic caves to the outdoor spaces and surrounding landscape. We art directed the shoot with a focus on the details, atmosphere, and sense of discovery that make a visit to Pine Ridge unique.

A fresh library of photography that brings a little more of the Pine Ridge experience into the brand.

For Pine Ridge Vineyards, we designed the key visuals across two distinct sides of the portfolio.

For the Cabernet portfolio, we developed a visual language rooted in the Stags Leap District and Pine Ridge’s deep connection to Cabernet.
For Chenin Blanc + Viognier, we created a lighter, brighter, more vibrant expression centered on freshness, taste, and approachability.

Two distinct expressions, brought together through a flexible visual system built for advertising, social, point-of-sale, and beyond.

A fresh look for the Pine Ridge Vineyards tasting experience.

Inspired by the winery site and its Stags Leap District home, we refreshed the tasting room collateral with new menus, brochures, a custom folio, and an updated AVA map. All designed to bring a strong sense of place to the guest experience. Elevated, approachable, and made for exploring.

Good Pantry is a brand that feels useful, welcoming, and intentionally unfussy. Rather than making sustainability the aesthetic, the identity quietly supports it, helping Good Pantry turn a different way of shopping into an easy and familiar part of everyday life.

Custom typography, a natural color palette, and a flexible suite of brandmarks create a distinctive visual language without competing with the experience itself. Warm, straightforward, and subtly playful, the system gives Good Pantry a recognizable presence while leaving room for the products, people, and purpose of the store to take center stage.

For our latest branding project, we partnered with wife-and-husband team Kelly and Ryan Stetins to design the brand identity for Good Pantry, a new zero-waste grocery bringing refillable, thoughtfully sourced everyday goods to Napa. Built around the idea that more sustainable habits should feel accessible rather than aspirational, Good Pantry reimagines the neighborhood grocery through a system designed to make shopping with less waste simple, intuitive, and inviting.

Designed to work across a broad range of applications, the identity extends across Good Pantry’s physical and digital presence, from exterior signage and bulk-bin labels to silkscreened jars and bottles, washi tape, RFID tags, tote bags, social media, and the website. Each touchpoint balances utility with character while reinforcing the thoughtful, low-waste ethos behind the business.

Inspired by the natural rhythms of the growing season, the Tidings brand icon adopts celestial symbolism; A historic map inspired “sun/moon”. The identity is a timeless metaphor for site-driven wines, allowing every vineyard and vintage to tell its own story. by @gatto.rivera

Tidings is founded on the belief that great wine is a reflection of place. Winemaker Reid Griggs approaches each bottling with traditional techniques, native fermentations, and minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard, not the winemaker, to define the final expression. Every vintage becomes a message carried from the land itself: tidings of season, site, and time.

That philosophy became the foundation for the packaging system. Rather than illustrating vineyards literally, we looked to historic maps of the regions where the wines originate, cropping fragments of topography into quiet graphic compositions unique to each bottling. by @gatto.rivera

New location. New look.

Back Room Wines, the storied Napa wine shop you know and love, has moved a few blocks down the road to a new space in downtown. We had the pleasure of rebranding their identity.

The new branding system was designed with versatility in mind, with a collection of logos and seals built to adapt seamlessly across signage, print, and digital applications. At the center of the system is a keyhole-inspired icon that doubles as a cellar door, with a wine glass peeking out from within, a small nod to what you might discover on the other side.

We’re excited to finally share a look at the new identity in motion, and even more excited to see it out in the world.

If you haven’t stopped by their new space yet, what are you waiting for? taken in Back Room Wines by @gatto.rivera
