Welcome to Gault’s Deli in Mount Wellington — and trust me, this place is a dream if you love good food. What I really love is how interactive everything feels. This isn’t just a deli where you grab something and go — it’s a place to explore. You can taste, ask questions, get ideas… and the team actually knows their food, so you walk out feeling inspired to cook something new. (Thank you Mina!) And yes, they even have cooking classes and a full pizza hub — so if you’ve ever wanted to make restaurant-level pizza at home, this is where you learn the good stuff. Honestly, Gault’s Deli is one of those spots where you come for ‘just one thing’ and leave with a bag full of treats you’re excited to try. It’s the perfect place to level up your pantry, discover new flavours, and just enjoy the experience of good food. #auckland #aucklandeats #gaultsdeli by @gaultsdeli

Love Dubai chocolate? Wait until you taste this! You know that delicious creamy pistachio filling with the crunchy bits inside those famous Dubai chocolate bars? Well, we've got something very similar at Gault's Deli, and this Saturday you can come in and taste it! It's our Italian Pistachio Cream with Kadayif, made in Sicily, and it's absolutely delicious. Rich, creamy, nutty, with those lovely little crunchy bits throughout. Spread it on a croissant, spoon it over ice cream, use it in desserts or, let's face it, just eat it straight from the jar. We won't judge! And the best part? It's normally $19.90, but currently just $14.90 a jar. That's just one of a whole host of delicious things we'll have out for you to try this Saturday. So pop in, have a taste and discover something new. You might just find your next favourite! Gault's Deli 3 Hannigan Drive, St Johns, Auckland Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm See you there! I’ve got to tell you about this stuff. I’ve been using Pukara Estate Caramelised Balsamic for ages and it’s seriously good. Tomatoes, salads, steak, roast veg, avocado, pizza, cheese, even strawberries. A little drizzle makes almost anything taste bloody good. The problem? The 250ml bottle disappears far too quickly. So we’ve now got 500ml bottles at Gault’s Deli too. Never tried it? Start with the 250ml. Already hooked? Don’t muck around. Get the 500ml. One of the best things you can have sitting in your pantry. by @gaultsdeli

A punnet of Meadow Mushrooms, a few supermarket ingredients and two little tricks. Vegetable stock concentrate for flavour, then cold butter and a quick pan shuffle to finish. Yes, I start with olive oil and finish with butter. I’m a chef, not a monk. #MoroccanMushrooms #MushroomRecipe #EasyCooking #CookingTips by @gaultsdeli

Three years. For a piece of cheese. Cantarelli age their Parmigiano Reggiano for a minimum of 24 months, with some left for 36. Three years! I love the fact that you simply can’t rush something like this. One tip from me: never eat Parmesan straight from the fridge. Let it come to room temperature first. You’ll taste so much more of it. by @gaultsdeli
