Been working on speeding up my process on silly ideas and drawings. Scan a pretty rough-ish drawing and play around with it on Photoshop. It's a little bit more unpredictable and quicker than the usual adobe illustrator, which feels more creatively fulfilling right now.

These ones are from a day when I was stuck on drawing rats. Before I knew what the hantavirus was.

Racking up a good few of them a week, and might make a zine with them.
I could also see the street knowledge rat working on t-shirt potentially, if you think so too, just let me know! 🐀

I was approached by @runwiththegoldenwolf to create to illustrate 20+ emoji illustrations for Chase Bank.

The goal of this project was to appeal to a younger generation and introduce Gen Z to
banking through the usage of emojis.

Huge shout out to @fridulph who did an amazing job with creative direction and also made my illustrations come to life with her animation skills 👏

Carrying on the series of goofy rough drawings through a Looser/Accelerated process. Quite like the Fez small house hippo for some reason.

I got to illustrate some work for the V&A Shop, at @vam_east last year, where I created a full composition inspired by pieces within their V&A East Storehouse.
The plan was to be able to pull out any illustration so it could be used for different bits of merch to sell in their shop. So far, there is a pin and cap released, and mugs will be live in the next week or so, too.

I've included an image of the reference, a sketch, and the final illustration to give you an idea of the process.

Grateful for the collaboration on this really fun project with @vamuseum . Such a reputable and important source for all things art.
