When @miaaustreng called me to join the @atlantawild grid team, I had so many feelings of doubt and so many questions. One of those questions being, what the fuck is grid league ? Flash forward 6 months, and it was one of the best things to ever happen to me. The friends i’ve made and relationships i’ve built in that short time are nothing short of amazing.

@unitedgridleague gave me the opportunity to go see what the world really is about and open my eyes to so many opportunities and perspectives. It also gave me a chance to learn - about myself and from others. You find a lot out about yourself when your 19 reps into a set of 16 KB clusters.

Also wanna give a shoutout to @mattphelan - for quite literally holding my hand through learning how to train - learning what an airport even is - and giving me the best opportunity to translate my skills to the grid. Couldn’t ask for a better coach 😎.

All in all, i’m incredibly thankful for the Wild for giving me this opportunity, and seeing in me what i didn’t see in myself. Even though we sucked ASS this year, i wouldn’t wanna go 1-3 with any other team. Go Wild. ❤️🖤 taken in Atlanta, GA by @gavin.damato

NEW SIGNING ALERT 🚨🔥

He’s here to shake things up.

Gavin is the kind of athlete who flips the script, turns heads, and makes people pay attention real quick. Something tells us he’s about to shock a lot of people this season.

Get ready. 😤💪
