On July 28th, Gavin had a flat tire and lost the rear end of the bike off the face of a jump, resulting in a broken tibia and fibula.
The break was initially non-displaced, but unfortunately, at his one-week checkup, it had displaced while in the cast. He ended up needing surgery to straighten the bones and pin everything back into place.
He has 14 more days in the cast, and then we’ll start rehab to get the leg strong again before getting back on the bike.
We appreciate everyone who continues to support him. He’s already looking forward to getting back at it. by @gavin.sayers
