Got runner up at state, but I didn’t stop running. ⬇️As the verse Jeremiah 29:11 states “For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse has changed the way I view my life and my actions. Ever since I was little, I have been trying to find THAT sport. I tried baseball, soccer, cheerleading, and I even did gymnastics for five years, but I could never reach the level I wanted. I wanted to be recognized by others, and I have always wanted to make an impact, but I could never get there. Now, I believe I have been given that opportunity. I believe that God has put me through trials and shaped me into who I am so that I can succeed in a sport and handle success without letting pride take over. All of the sports I’ve done have shaped me into the person and athlete I am today.I’m SO grateful for everything and everyone in my life and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. I want to give thanks to my mom, dad, memer, even my stepmom watching me compete from home, girlfriend, aunts and uncles,coaches, and everyone who has shaped me to be the better man I am today.ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!@powerlifting_america by @gavin_barras07
